Tour Finale, Playoffs and Championships Champions 2000-17 (alphabetical) The PRCA launched its Wrangler ProRodeo Tour in 2000, and until 2006 the Tour had summer and winter Tours with their own finales. The Summer Finale was held in several locations including Mesquite, Texas (2000); Dallas, Texas (2001-02); and Omaha, Neb. (2003-06). The Winter finales were held in Las Vegas, Nev. (2000-04); Reno, Nev. (2005); and Tulsa, Okla. (2006). In 2006, the ProRodeo Classic in Dallas, Texas, became the ProRodeo Tour Championship Finale. Summer and Winter finale champions are included in the list below. In 2007-08, the finale systemwas dropped in favor of a three-event Playoffs series with rodeos in Caldwell, Idaho; Omaha, Neb.; and Puyallup, Wash. The Playoffs were followed by the Tour’s Championships in Dallas, Texas. From 2009-15, the Justin Boots Playoffs was a single event in Puyallup, Wash., followed by the Justin Boots Championships in Omaha, Neb., both presented by Wrangler. In 2016-17, there was only one event: the Justin Boots Playoffs in Puyallup.
