B220.127.116.11 Maintaining Timer Qualifications. A new timer or a timer who times less than four rodeos per year will be required to attend a PRCA sponsored Timers Clinic every two years to be eligible to time PRCA rodeos. Clinic attendance will be at the individual expense of the timer wishing to renew their membership. New applicants will be required to complete a Timers Clinic in order to complete their acceptance as a PRCA contract personnel member. B18.104.22.168 Dues and Fees. Annual dues, fees and insurance premiums will be the same as for Contestant Permit Members. B22.214.171.124 Insurance Fee. Clowns/Barrelmen shall be subject to the insurance fee as set forth in Section B126.96.36.199. B188.8.131.52 Application. Applicants for Noncontestant Card Member-Clown/Barrelman status must submit a completed PRCA application to the PRCA. At least three letters of recommendation must accompany the application, a minimum of one letter each from a qualified person in each group specified below: Group 1 (a former): NFR Barrelman or alternate, Bullfight Finals Barrelman, or Top 5 Coors Man-in-the-Can in the past 10 years. Group 2 (a former): NFR Bullfighter or Alternate, Bullfight Finals Qualifier, or PRCA World Champion Bullfighter. Group 3 (a former): NFR Announcer, NFR Announcer Alternate, or Top 5 Announcer of the Year in the past 10 years. Prospective Clowns/Barrelmen must be reviewed and approved by the PRCA before the applicant will be considered for Permit Membership. A non-refundable $500 fee must be submitted to the PRCA with the membership application to defray the costs of the review. Applicant must provide a list of rodeos and/or bull riding events for evaluation. Upon evaluation and approval, applicant will be issued a Noncontestant PRCA Permit Membership. B184.108.40.206 Minimum Contracts. The Clown/Barrelman Permit Member can work on their permit until completing 5 PRCA rodeos or until the end of the PRCA season. Surveys will be sent to the Stock Contractor, Contract Personnel, and Rodeo Committee Chairman the applicant worked with at each of the 5 PRCA rodeos. These surveys will be kept on file until completion of 5 PRCA rodeos or until the end of the PRCA season.
