At theWrangler NFR, he placed in the first three rounds of the tie-down roping (including first in the third round with a time of 7.7 seconds) and in the first round of the team roping to sew up the all-around title; finished ninth in the world in tie-down roping with $119,260. Won all-around titles at the Parker County Sheriff’s Posse Frontier Days Rodeo (Weatherford, Texas) and the Puyallup (Wash.) Rodeo. Won the Tour round at Rodeo Austin (Texas) in tie-down roping; theTour Round and average title at the Reno (Nev.) Rodeo and the Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo (Casper).
