2020 PRCA MEDIA GUIDE

What is Xtreme Bulls?

The PRCA Xtreme Bulls Tour showcases the PRCA’s top bull riders and some of the rankest bulls the world has to offer. Xtreme Bulls competitors include the top bull riders from the PRCAWorld Standings as well as contestants who advance through Xtreme Bulls qualifying events. In most Xtreme Bulls events, every contestant competes in the first round, with

the top performers advancing to the final round. The winner of the two-head average after the final round earns the title for that Tour stop. (A few Xtreme Bulls events are one-headers.) Money won on the PRCA Xtreme Bulls Tour counts toward the PRCAWorld Standings for bull riding, which determine the qualifiers for theWrangler National Finals Rodeo, but does not count toward the all-around standings. In 2019, there were eight Division I events and 46 Division II events.

2019 SEASON HIGHLIGHTS

The Finale paid eight places with a total of $101,520 in prize money. It began with the Top 40 riders in the Xtreme Bulls Tour standings.

• Sage Kimzey won , finishing the season with $79, 797 (including ground money) and winning his third Xtreme Bulls title

• Boudreaux Campbell scored 92.5 points on Frontier Rodeo’s No. B2 at the Cody (Wyo.) Stampede June 30. • Joe Frost scored 89 points on 4L & Diamond’s Monte Walsh in the short round to win the Xtreme Bulls competition in Fort Worth, Texas. He took home $30,000 after winning the crown and added another $1,500 for his ride in the first round • Jordan Spears won the Xtreme Bulls Tour Finale with 173 points on two head. Spears earned $27,410. Spears also won the XBulls Finale in 2017, earning an Xtreme Bulls record for a one-stop win with a $39,386 payday.
