2020 PRCA Awards Banquet

YEAR-END AWARDS Active contract personnel, competing contestants, and rodeo committees vote each year for the top achievers in the categories of contract personnel, stock contractors and rodeos. There are two ballots — the first creates a pool of the five top nominees in each category, and the second allows the members to select the award-winner. PRCA CLOWN OF THE YEAR Presented by MillerCoors The finalists were nominated by 2020 PRCA participating contract personnel, all competing contestants, PRCA stock contracting firms and every dues-paying PRCA rodeo committee. Second- through fifth-place winners will be recognized with a PRCA plaque. Coors will present the first- place winner with a gold/silver Montana Silversmiths buckle and plaque, a bonus check, a Resistol Hat certificate and a certificate for a pair of exotic Justin boots. PRCA TIMER OF THE YEAR Presented by Reno Rodeo The PRCA will present the first-place winner with a Montana Silversmiths buckle and a bonus check. PRCA SECRETARY OF THE YEAR Presented by RAM RAM will present the first-place winner with a gold/silver Montana Silversmiths buckle and plaque, a bonus check, a Resistol Hat certificate and a certificate for a pair of exotic Justin boots. PRCA DRESS ACT OF THE YEAR Presented by RAM The PRCA will present the first-place winner with a gold/silver Montana Silversmiths buckle and plaque, a bonus check, a Resistol Hat certificate and a certificate for a pair of exotic Justin boots. PRCA MUSIC DIRECTOR OF THE YEAR Presented by CINCH Presented to the top PRCA music director, this category was created to recognize the best in music entertainment and fan engagement during a performance. Cinch will present the first-place winner with a Montana Silversmiths Buckle, a Resistol Hat certificate, a certificate for a pair of exotic Justin boots and a bonus check. PRCA PICKUP MAN OF THE YEAR Presented by RAM The PRCA will present the first-place winner with a Montana Silversmiths buckle, a Cactus saddle and a bonus check. PRCA BULLFIGHTER OF THE YEAR Presented by Wrangler Wrangler will present the first-place winner with a gold/silver Montana Silversmiths buckle, a Resistol Hat certificate, a certificate for a pair of exotic Justin boots and a bonus check. PRCA DONITA BARNES LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD Presented by RAM This Award recognizes PRCA contract personnel members who have committed their lives to the rodeo industry, through their work and contributions. The nominees were selected by their contract personnel peers.
