PLEASE NOTE: Examples of Brand usage will be featured on this page throughout the Brand Guidelines. In order for our identity to sustain its inherent value and to communicate an image as the industry leader, these guidelines must be implemented with care, consistency and good design judgment.

A VIEW OF THE PAST

For brands in the modern age, there needs to be more than just a logo. There should be a system that can adapt and accommodate all of the various touch-points of customer interaction. We have created a system that can be broken down into four elements. Each element was inspired by key ingredients of the ProRodeo brand. The American flag helps us capture a sense of patriotism and pride. We strive to show respect and honor our nation’s flag. Belt Buckle Gold. This represents the professionalism of Rodeo and the champion belt buckle that all cowboys aspire to win. The bronc. This is not only representative of the sport but the whole culture of the west. The midnight sky is a testament to the endless nights and commitment that goes into becoming a Pro Cowboy.

THE SYSTEM

PRCA BRANDING LOGO At all times, the PRCA logo should be visible on any publication, digital asset, or event in association with the PRCA. Logo should be placed in a clear space with a clean area free from disctraction.

The ProRodeo Shield must always be surrounded by a field of clear-space to isolate it from competing graphic elements and ensure its visibility and impact. The clear space minimum is equal to 1/4 of the height and width of the ProRodeo Shield, as represented by X & Y in the example. This minimum amount of clear space must surround the ProRodeo Shield in all applications. The ProRodeo Shield can appear in a variety of sizes to accommodate a range of applications, but it must never be sized so small that it becomes illegible. The logo should never be reproduced so the optical height becomes less 1 inch or 72 pixels.
