ALL CONTESTANTS - Re-entries will be accepted for available positions on Thurs., May 12 between 9 AM and 11 AM. See Rodeo Entry Information page of the business journal. GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hour after entries close. COMPETITION FORMAT - 40 minimum entries. (May be two go-rounds, back-to-back, same performance, depending on the number of entries). If two go-rounds, the number of entries accepted during the re-entry period will not exceed one half the original limit. IN ORDER OF SELECTION : - 70% top money - 30% top circuit NOTIFY PROCOM : Notification must be made at the time of entry if claiming an exemption from qualification. Anyone claiming an exemption must have entered and paid fees at a minimum of twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2021 rodeo year, unless the contestant qualifies for a medical exemption. Contestants claiming medical exemptions must have been injured at least six (6) months during the 2021 rodeo year. Contestant must not have entered and paid fees at more than twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2021 rodeo year. A letter from a licensed physician on doctor’s letterhead bearing the doctor’s name, address and phone number must be received by the PRCA National Office prior to entry opening. A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Bulls Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls Event. CHECK-IN: Contestants must check-in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. ALTERNATES: Alternates will be selected based on 2022 money won (as of 7 days prior to entry closings). Contestants who are placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event that conflicts with the Xtreme Bulls Event will not be eligible to be used as an alternate. Contestants may check- in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant turns-out (notified or non-notified) or VIR’s he will be responsible to pay entry fees whether he is replaced or not. The alternate contestant will also be responsible to pay entry fees. Also, if a contestant turns-out of an X-Bulls event and is not replaced, he will receive a $250 fine (does not include DR’s and VIR’s). If a contestant properly doctor releases he will not be responsible for entry fees nor will the event be applied to his official rodeo count. RE-RIDES: After all replacements have been made, any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) will be used as re-rides prior to using the designated re- ride(s). PAYOFF: 6% of the total purse is to be deducted prior to the payoff and sent in with the results. ALL PERCENTAGES WILL BE DIVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULEBOOK. NOTE: In order for money won in Xtreme Bulls Competition to count for the 2022 National Finals Rodeo or 2022 Rookie of the Year Standings, during the 2022 season, a contestant must have

SR - 4 go-rounds plus a top 18 progressive round. The first three go- rounds will be run on May 14. The fourth go-round and the progressive will be run on May 15. $45 stock charge per go-round. Contestants who qualify for the progressive go- round will be charged an additional $45 stock charge. Extras will be used to replace sick or injured animals. The misdraw procedure will not be used. ALL CONTESTANTS - Only the first 3 animals in each go-round will be required to run in drawn order. Electric eye barrier may be used. Contestants may start from either box. Contestants are required to go to a minimum of 15 PRCA rodeos for the money won at this even to count towards 2022 World standings or the 2022 Rookie of the Year standings. Money will count towards circuit standings and this event will be applied towards a circuit count. Money won at this event will not count toward All Around standings. STK. They must also be entered in the steer roping event at the Ron Ross Memorial Steer Roping. To be eligible, the contestant must have not been an NFSR qualifier during the past 5 years. Permit members of all ages will also be eligible to enter. Contestants will pay entry fees of $400. Contestant will not compete on any additional steers. The times that are recorded for the contestants’ competition runs at the Ron Ross Memorial Steer Roping will be used to determine the pay-off. Pay-off will only include the entry fees for the contestant who entered the Legacy Steer Roping through PROCOM. 6% will be held out of the total amount for the PRCA prior to payoff. There will be no additional added money and since no additional animals will be run, there will be no additional stock charge or PROCOM charge. Money won in the Legacy Steer Roping will not count towards PRCA World Standings, circuit standings, All Around Standings, or for money won qualifications. It will count only towards qualifying for the Legacy Steer Roping Finals held in conjunction with the National Finals Steer Roping.
