notifies a turn out, doctor’s release, or a visible injury release through PROCOM prior to the turn out deadline for the performance on May 20 at 7:00 PM can be replaced by the next highest ranked contestant who accepts advancement based on highest scores from the Qualifying Event. Stock will be drawn for replacements in accordance with the “Walk-Up Replacement” Policy. SB, BR - 32 entries will be accepted for the performance on May 21 at 6:00 PM. 30 entries will be accepted based on top money (see R1.2.15.1 from the 2022 PRCA Rule Book for previous/ current year percentages) and 2 contestants will advance from the First Year Card/Permit Section on May 21 at 2:00 PM based on highest scores. If ties result in more than 2 contestants to advance from the First Year Card/Permit Section, a random draw by the judges will determine which of the tied contestants will advance. Contestants advancing from the FYC/Permit Section and contestants who desire to be considered as alternates must confirm their intent to compete with the rodeo secretary no later than two hours prior to the performance. If either of the 2 advancing contestants elect not to advance due to injury or other reasons, the next highest ranked contestant(s) based on highest score(s) from the FYC/Permit Section will advance. GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hour after entries close. COMPETITION FORMAT - 40 minimum entries. One go-round. May be two go- rounds, back-to-back, same performance depending on the number of entries. If two go-rounds the number of entries accepted during the re-entry period will not exceed one half of the original limit. QUALIFICATIONS: - 70% top money - 30% top circuit NOTIFY PROCOM : Notification must be made at the time of entry if claiming an exemption from qualification. Anyone claiming an exemption must have entered and paid fees at a minimum of twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2021 rodeo year, unless the contestant qualifies for a medical exemption. Contestants claiming medical exemptions must have been injured at least six (6) months during the 2021 rodeo year. Contestant must not have entered and paid fees at more than twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2021 rodeo year. A letter from a licensed physician on doctor’s letterhead bearing the doctor’s name, address and phone number must be received by the PRCA National Office prior to entry opening. A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Bulls Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls event. CHECK-IN: Contestants must check in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. ALTERNATES: Alternates will be selected from a list established by PROCOM based on 2022 money won. A contestant who is placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event that conflicts with the Xtreme Bulls Event will not be eligible to be used as an alternate. Contestants may check in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant turns-out (notified or non-notified) or VIR’s he will be responsible to pay entry fees whether he is replaced or not. The alternate contestant will also be responsible to pay entry fees. Also, if a contestant turns-out of an X-Bulls event and is not replaced, he will receive a $250 fine (does not include DR’s and VIR’s). If a contestant properly doctor releases he will not be responsible for entry fees nor will the event be applied to his official rodeo count. RE-RIDES - After all replacements have been made, any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out (includes DR’s & VIR’s) will be used as re-rides prior to using the designated re-ride(s). PAYOFF: 6% of the total purse is to be deducted prior to the payoff and sent in with the results. The payoff will be determined on the highest marked scores. ALL PERCENTAGES WILL BE DIVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULE BOOK. NOTE: In order for money won in Xtreme Bulls Competitions to count for the 2022 National Finals Rodeo or the 2022 Rookie of the Year Standings, during the 2022 season, a contestant must have
