See Rodeo Entry Information page of the business journal. The check in deadline for alternates to be considered as walk-up replacements for this event will be one hour prior to the performance. COMEPETITION FORMAT: 30 minimum entries. One go-round with a top two chute out round. QUALIFICATIONS: 70 % top money, 30% top circuit. NOTIFY PROCOM : Notification must be made at the time of entry if claiming an exemption from qualification. Anyone claiming an exemption must have entered and paid fees at a minimum of twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2021 rodeo year, unless the contestant qualifies for a medical exemption. Contestants claiming medical exemptions must have been injured at least six (6) months during the 2021 rodeo year. Contestant must not have entered and paid fees at more than twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos or events held during the 2021 rodeo year. A letter from a licensed physician on doctor’s letterhead bearing the doctor’s name, address and phone number, must be received by the PRCA National Office prior to entry opening. A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Bulls Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls Event. CHECK-IN: Contestants must check-in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. ALTERNATES: Alternates will be selected from a list established by PROCOM based on 2022 money won (as of 7 days prior to entry closings). Contestants who are placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event that conflicts with with the Xtreme Bulls Event will not be eligible to be used as an alternate. Contestants may check-in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition positions of the contestant he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by the contestant. If a contestant turns-out (notified or non- notified) or VIR’s he will be responsible to pay entry fees whether he is replaced or not. The alternate contestant will also be responsible to pay entry fees. Also, if a contestant turns-out of an X-Bulls event and is not replaced, he will receive a $250 fine (does not include DR’s and VIR’s). If a contestant properly doctor releases he will not be responsible for entry fees nor will the event be applied to his official rodeo count. Only First Year Card and Permit Members will be accepted. FORMAT: One go-round. The top 2 contestants based on highest scores will advance to the performance on May 21 at 6:00 PM. If ties result in more than 2 to advance, a random draw by the judges will determine which of the tied contestants will advance. Contestants advancing from the FYC/Permit Section and contestants who desire to be considered as alternates must confirm their intent to compete with the rodeo secretary no later than two hours prior to the performance on May 21 at 6:00 PM. If either or both the advancing contestants elect not to advance due to injury or other reasons, the next highest ranked contestant(s) based on highest score(s) from the FYC/Permit Section will advance. A contestant who notifies a turn out, doctor’s release, or a visible injury release through PROCOM prior to the turn out deadline for the performance on May 21 at 6:00 PM can be replaced by the next highest ranked contestant who accepts advancement based on highest scores from the FYC/Permit Section. Stock will be drawn for replacements in accordance with the “Walk-Up Replacement” Policy. PAYOFF - Three places will be paid (1st -50%; 2nd -30%; 3rd -20%). ALL CONTESTANTS - A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at this event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event during the same performance time frame as this event. NOTE: Money won by Card Members at this event will count towards qualification for the 2022 National Finals Rodeo and the 2022 Rookie of the Year Standings as long as the contestant entered and competed at a minimum of 40 PRCA rodeos during the 2022 rodeo year. Money won will not count towards Circuit Standings for card members. It will count for Circuit Standings for permit members. Money won at this event will not count for All Around Standings.
