COMPETITION FORMAT - 40 minimum entries. Two go-rounds with a top 10 finals on May 6. One go-round each performance. QUALIFICATIONS: - 100% top money. No exemptions CHECK-IN: Contestants must check in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. A contestant who is placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event that conflicts with the Xtreme Bulls Event will not be eligible to be used as an alternate. Contestants may check in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant turns-out (notified or non- notified) or VIR’s he will be responsible to pay entry fees whether he is replaced or not. The alternate contestant will also be responsible to pay entry fees. Also, if a contestant turns-out of an X-Bulls event and is not replaced, he will receive a $250 fine (does not include DR’s and VIR’s). If a contestant properly doctor releases he will not be responsible for entry fees nor will the event be applied to his official rodeo count. STOCK DRAW: Selection of bulls for the finals will be accomplished by mutual agreement of the event representative (or his designated appointee), the primary stock contractor, and a judge designated by the supervisor of Pro Officials. FINALS STOCK - The order of the bulls to be used in the finals will be randomly drawn by the judges and listed in order on the judges’ sheets prior to the first go-round of competition. The contestant with the lowest score will be listed first and the contestant with the highest score will be listed last with animals already drawn to those positions. The order of any ties will be determined by a random draw by the judges. RE-RIDES - After all replacements have been made, any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out (includes DR’s & VIR’s) will be used as re-rides prior to using the designated re-ride(s). PAY-OFF: 6% of the total purse is to be deducted prior to the pay-off and sent in with the results. 25% of the remaining amount will be allocated to each of the first two go-rounds. 25% will be allocated to the finals and 25% will be allocated to the average. Each go-round and the average will pay 8 places. The finals will pay 4 places. ALL PERCENTAGES WILL BE DIVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULE BOOK. In the event that there are not enough qualified rides in the first and/or second go-rounds, a random draw back list will be used to select contestants to fill the remaining positions in the finals. Contestants who did not have a qualified score in either the first or second go-round and are drawn back to compete in the finals, will not be eligible to place in the average. Money won by any contestant in the finals will count towards PRCA World Standings, Xtreme Bulls Standings, and Rookie of the Year Standings (provided the contestant has entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA Rodeos).
