Any remaining positions will be filled based on 2022 CPRA standings as of May 25, 2022. Two go- rounds. The top 6 in the aggregate will advance to the finals. If there is a tie in the average to advance to the top 6 finals, the contestants with highest score on one head will advance. PAYOFF: 25% of the total purse will go to each of the first two go-rounds and 50% will go to the finals. Finals will pay 4 places (40/30/20/10). TD - There will be a disqualification for a jerkdown as long as all criteria are in compliance with the jerkdown policy. TD, SW, TR - If there are not enough contestants in the current year circuit money won category to fill the allotted circuit positions, the remaining positions will be filled with contestants from the previous year circuit money won category. QUALIFICATIONS: BB, SB - 48 minimum entries. No compensation. Two go-rounds back-to-back, perf to perf, W/F’s (12). $5000 held out for finals. No slack. BR - 96 minimum entries. No compensation. First go-round will be at 10:00 AM each day (June 17-24). (Approximately 12 contestants or teams per day). The contestants with the top 8 fastest times from the first go-round will be placed in the performance (slowest time will run first, fastest time will run last). If splits result in more than 8, a random draw will determine which contestants will compete in the performance and which will compete in slack. The order of competition of ties from the first go-round will also be determined by random draw. If there are not 8 qualified times from the first go-round to fill the performance, the remaining positions will be filled by contestants based on the reverse order of their first go-round positions (Only contestants who competed in the first go-round will be placed in the performance). The remaining contestants (not placed in the performance) will run their second go-round in slack immediately following the completion of the first go-round in reverse order of their first go-round position. of any turn-outs or doctor releases and be given the option of re-entry up to 24 hours prior to rodeo turn-out deadline. Any turnouts done after the alternate time frame will be filled by walk-up replacements only. If stock has already been drawn in the rough stock, they will draw stock from a pool of animals consisting of all turned-out stock for that performance and all re-ride stock for that performance. WALK-UP REPLACEMENT: Contestants who have originally entered and were eligible at time of entry but were drawn out may, in person, check with the rodeo secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, by random draw of all walk-ups available, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing. In the rough stock, they will draw stock from a pool of animals consisting of all turned-out stock for the performance and all re-ride stock for that performance. **If a contestant notifies a turn-out, DR or visible release and is replaced by an alternate, the alternate contestant will be responsible for the entry fees. If the contestant that notified the turnout or visible release is not replaced by an alternate, they will be responsible for the entry fee. If a contestant properly doctor releases they will not be responsible for entry fees.** **In the event that there are not enough qualified rides in the go-round, a random draw back list will be used to select contestants to fill the remaining positions in the finals. Contestants who did not have a qualified score in the go-round and are drawn back to compete in the finals, will not be eligible to place in the aggregate. Money won in the finals will count.** NOTE: Money won at Xtreme Broncs Events will count towards X-Broncs Standings which will be used for qualifying for the finale in Rapid City. In order for money won in the Wildwood Saddle Bronc competition to count for the 2022 National Finals Rodeo or the 2022 Rookie of the Year standings, during the 2022 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of 40 PRCA rodeos. Money won at the Wildwood Saddle Bronc competition will not count towards All-Around standings. STK.
