TD, SW, TR, SR - Electric eye barrier will be used. TD - Roper may use either box. TE - Contestant must use pusher provided to bring cattle down the lane. SLACK ORDER - TD, SW, TR, followed by GB. SCORE LENGTHS - TD - 14 feet, SW - 11 feet, SR - 15 feet, TR - 18 feet. The length of the roping box is approximately 50 feet. Contestants must use the pusher provided to bring cattle down the lane. TD, SW, TR - Two go-rounds. Back-to-back. The first go-round of each back-to-back group will be run during slack each morning. The contestants with the 12 fastest times from the first go-round will be placed in the performance (slowest time will run first, fastest time will run last). If splits result in more than 12, a random draw will determine which contestants will compete in the performance and which will compete in the slack. The order of competition of ties from the first go-round will also be determined by random draw. If there are not 12 qualified times from the first go-round, to fill the performance, the remaining positions will be filled by contestants based on the reverse order of their first go- round positions (only contestants who competed in the first go-round will be placed in the performance). The remaining contestants (not placed in the performance) will run their second go-round in the slack immediately following the completion of the first go-round position. The order of the draw will be the same as the competition order . SR - Two go-rounds. The SR will be held on Wed., June 21 at 9 am in its entirety. (No SR will be run during the performances). Extras will be used to replace sick or injured animals. (The misdraw procedure will not be used). QUALIFICATIONS: BB - 36 minimum entries. No compensation. No slack. SB & BR - 45 minimum entries. GROUND RULES: Contestants who choose to enter the Legacy Steer Roping event must be at least 50 years old or a permit member at the time of entry closing. They must also be entered in the steer roping event at the Kadoka Buffalo Stampede Event. To be eligible, the contestant must not have been an NSFR qualifier during the past 3 years. Permit members of all ages will also be eligible to enter. Contestants will pay additional entry fees of $300. Contestants will not compete on any additional steers. The times that are recorded for the contestant’s competition runs at the Kadoka Buffalo Stampede Event will be used to determine the pay off. Pay-off will only include the entry fees for the contestants who entered the Legacy Steer Roping through PROCOM. 6% will be held out of the total amount for the PRCA prior to the pay-off. Only the three go-rounds and the average after three go-rounds will be included in the pay-off for the Legacy Steer Roping. There will be no additional added money and since no additional animals will be run, there will be no additional stock charge of PROCOM charge. Money won in the Legacy Steer Roping will not count towards PRCA World Standings, circuit standings, All Around standings, or for money won qualifications. It will count towards qualifying for the Legacy Steer Roping Finals held in conjunction with the National Finals Steer Roping. (NFSR qualifiers will not be eligible for the Legacy Steer Roping Finals). STK.
