RE-ENTRIES - Re-entries will be accepted where the actual entries accepted during the original entry period were less than the limit. Entries will be re opened sometime prior to the riding event stock draw. Contestants that enter during the re-entry period will be placed in the remaining available positions (available positions will be defined by the stock contractor and/or committee based on the number of contestants that entered during the re- entry period). All re-entries will be accepted to fill the performances not to exceed the original limit defined in the ground rules (based on “money won” qualifications). *If a contestant notifies a turn-out, DR, or visible release and is replaced by an alternate, the alternate contestant will be responsible for the entry fees. If the contestant that notified the turn-out or visible release is not replaced by an alternate, they will be responsible for the entry fee. GROUND RULES: ALL CONTESTANTS - The 30 hour and walk-up replacement policies will be in effect. The check-in deadline for this event will be one hour prior to the performance. ALL CONTESTANTS - Re-entries will be accepted for available positions on Fri., June 10 between 9 AM and 11 AM. See Rodeo Entry Information page of the business journal. GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hour after entries close. COMPETITION FORMAT - 40 minimum entries. One go-round with top 12 finals (will not exceed 12). If there are not 12 qualified rides, all remaining positions will be filled by random draw (by the judges). If the 12th contestant is tied going into final round the tie will be broken by the back judge. If he cannot break the tie, all tied contestants will draw chips to see who advances to the finals. IN ORDER OF SELCTION: 90% top money, 10% Random draw of exemptions. NOTIFY PROCOM : Notification must be made at the time of entry if claiming an exemption from qualification. Anyone claiming an exemption must have entered and paid fees at a minimum of twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2021 rodeo year, unless the contestant qualifies for a medical exemption. Contestants claiming medical exemptions must have been injured at least six (6) months during the 2021 rodeo year. Contestant must not have entered and paid fees at more than twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos or events held during the 2021 rodeo year. A letter from a licensed physician on doctor’s letterhead bearing the doctor’s name, address and phone number, must be received by the PRCA National Office prior to entry opening. If a contestant with a medical exemption is drawn (during the random draw of exemptions) his “money won” from the year previous to the qualification category being considered will be used to determine whether or not he will be accepted. (If he was injured for 6 months during the 2021 rodeo year, his “money won” from the 2020 rodeo year will be used in comparison to the “money won” from the 2021 rodeo year for the other contestants entered). A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X- Bulls Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls Event. CHECK-IN: Contestants must check-in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. ALTERNATES: Alternates will be selected based on 2022 money won (as of 7 days prior to entry closings). A contestant who is placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event that conflicts with the Xtreme Bulls Event will not be eligible to be used as an alternate. Contestants may check in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm his availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. TD AND SW PAYOFF: If one go-round and the total payout is $25,000 to $39,999, twelve places will be paid: (1st -17%; 2nd -15%; 3rd -13%; 4th -11%; 5th -9%; 6th -8%; 7th -7%; 8th -6%; 9th -5%; 10th -4%; 11th -3%; 12th -2%.) If one go-round and the total payout is $40,000 or more, fifteen places will be paid: (1st -15%; 2nd -13%; 3rd -12%; 4th -10%; 5th -9%; 6th -8%; 7th -7%; 8th -6%; 9th -5%; 10th -4%; 11th -3.5%; 12th -3%; 13th -2%; 14th -1.5%; 15th -1%.)
