New Rule 8.7.7 Known chute stalling animals, as per 8.7.7.2, shall be schooled before being used in competition at another PRCA event. (Stock Contractor Executive Council 10/20) New Rule 8.7.7.1 Schooling will consist of loading the animal in the chute, hanging the flank, rigging, saddle, or neck rope on it and training the animal to leave without the use of an electric prod or any other device. (Stock Contractor Executive Council 10/20) New Rule 8.7.7.2 An animal that has been reported by judges as a stalling animal more than three times will be considered a known stalling animal. (Stock Contractor Executive Council 10/20) New Rule 8.7.7.2.1 If a stalling animal is taken out of the draw and it causes the stock contractor to have less than the required number of head of stock in an event, fines in accordance with R7.8.5 will be assessed. (Stock Contractor Executive Council 10/20) New Rule 8.7.7.3 Video evidence of schooling showing the animal learning to exit the chute will be submitted to PRCA Rodeo Administration before the animal is allowed back in the draw. (Stock Contractor Executive Council 10/20) New Rule 8.7.7.3.1 If an animal is taken out of the draw at a rodeo, it may be put back in the draw at the same rodeo if the reporting judge was present or has been presented with video evidence of schooling showing the animal as being satisfactory. (Stock Contractor Executive Council 10/20) New Rule 8.7.7.3.2 If said animal stalls again at the same rodeo, that animal will be taken out of the draw for any remaining performances/slacks at that rodeo including any short go round. That animal must be schooled and proven to not stall before being allowed back in the draw in any subsequent PRCA event. (Stock Contractor Executive Council 10/20) New Rule 8.7.7.4 An animal that has a documented history on file, as per 8.7.7.2, with Rodeo Administration as a stalling animal more than once in a rodeo season may be excluded from any broadcast performance, including the National Finals Rodeo, during the current rodeo season. (Stock Contractor Executive Council 10/20) Change R4.13.3 Monies Due the PRCA . Should the “For Secretary Use” sheet indicate that the Arena Secretary owes money to the PRCA, that money must be submitted to the PRCA postmarked no later that the first business day following the competition of the rodeo. (PRCA Staff 3/21) Change B2.7.4 Replacement Cards. A charge of $5.00 $10.00 will be assessed for any replacement membership card or companion pass, except that Life Members will be charged $25.00 for replacement Gold Card. Change R1.6.2 Draw out of Another Event. A multi-event contestant may be allowed to draw out of one event by virtue of a parameter if drawn out of another event. (EXAMPLE: “Out if two in bareback, then draw me out of bull riding also.”) (PRCA Staff 3/21) Change R1.6.3 Parameters Specifying “Out If Less Than.” “Out-if-less-than (specified number) of contestants” will only be accepted with the specified number stated in increments of five. (EXAMPLE: Out if less than 10, 15, etc.) For purposes of this Rule, the total number of contestants in an event shall include the contestant specifying the parameter. (PRCA Staff 3/21) Change R1.6.5 Bull Riding at “If Limited” Rodeos. In the bull riding, at “If Limited” rodeos, contestants may attach an “Out if Not Limited” parameter to the entry, and must pay the $5 Central Entry Office charge if drawn out. (PRCA Staff 3/21) Change R1.6.9 Unofficial. At the time of entry a contestant may specify that a given rodeo be considered an unofficial entry if a certain number of go-rounds or entries occur. Examples: “unofficial entry if two head,” “unofficial entry if less than 40.” (PRCA Staff 3/21)
