The first go round of each “back to back” group will be run at 9 AM each day (Aug. 7-10). The ten contestants with fastest times from the first go-round will be placed in the performance that night (slowest time will run first, fastest time will run last). If splits result in more than ten, a random draw will determine which contestants will compete in the performance (will not exceed ten) and which will compete in slack. The order of competition of ties from the first go-round will also be determined by random draw. If there are not ten qualified times from the first go-round to fill the performance, the remaining positions will be filled by contestants based on the reverse order of their first go-round positions (Only contestants who competed in the first go-round will be placed in the performance). The remaining contestants (not placed in the performance) will run their second go-round in slack immediately following the completion of the first go-round in reverse order of their first go-round position. They must also be entered in the steer roping event at the Lea County PRCA Rodeo. To be eligible, the contestant must not have been an NFSR qualifier during the past 3 years. Permit members of all ages are eligible to enter. Contestants will pay an additional entry fees of $300. Contestants will not compete on any additional steers. The times that are recorded for the contestants’ competition runs at the Lea County PRCA Rodeo will be used to determine the payoff. Payoff will only include the entry fees for the contestants who entered the Legacy Steer Roping through PROCOM. 6% will be held out of the total amount for the PRCA prior to the payoff. Only the three go- rounds and the average after three go- rounds will be included in the payoff for the Legacy Steer Roping. There will be no additional added money and since no additional animals will be run, there will be no additional stock charge or PROCOM charge. STK. ALL CONTESTANTS - All contestants are required to wear PRCA patch while competing. ALL EVENTS - If a contestant notifies a turn-out prior to the 30-hour deadline for his scheduled competition time, turn-out fines will be waived, if and only if he is replaced. ALL CONTESTANTS - Current World Champions, former World Champions, or any contestant that is in the top ten standings are required to sign autographs for approximately 15 minutes just prior to the performance or at some time during the performance, or after the performance at the request of the committee. GB - Approved for first slack event after the performances in accordance with R4.9.4. SW - Score length may be up to 2 feet longer than rulebook maximum with Event Representative approval. TR - Score length will be determined after animals to be used have been determined. Score may be up to 20 feet with a hand pulled barrier with event representatives and rodeo committee approval. TE - If a timed event animal escapes during a performance (or a rerun is given for any other reason), the extra will be used. Only escaped animals go back to the herd . SR - Score length may be up to 20 feet and a hand pull barrier may be used with event representatives and rodeo committee approval . SR - Three go-rounds. Back to back to back. The first go-round of each “back to back” group will be run first in slack each day at 9 AM, and will be followed by the SW and TD slack. The second go round for that group will be run after the SW and TD and will be followed by the TR slack. The top ten SR contestants based on the average after the first two go-rounds will compete in the performance that same night for their third go-round and the remainder will run their third go-round during slack that same day after all other slack events are
