They must also be entered in the steer roping event at the Pendleton Round-Up. To be eligible, the contestants must not have been an NFSR qualifier during the past 3 years. Permit members of all ages will be eligible to enter. will pay an additional entry fees of $200. Contestants will not compete on any additional steers. The times that are recorded for the contestants’ competition runs at the Pendleton Round-up will be used to determine the pay-off. Pay-off will only include the entry fees for the contestants who entered the Legacy Steer Roping through PROCOM. 6% will be held out of the total amount for the PRCA prior to the pay-off. Only the two go-rounds and the average after two go- rounds will be included in the pay-off for the Legacy Steer Roping. There will be no additional added money and since no additional animals will be run, there will be no additional stock charge or PROCOM charge. Money won in the Legacy Steer Roping will not count towards PRCA World Standings, circuit standings, All Around standings, or for money won qualifications. Pay-off will be determined on highest marked scores. The event champion will be the winner of the Average. ALL PERCENTAGES WILL BE DIVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULEBOOK. NOTE - In order for money won at this event to count for the 2023 National Finals Rodeo or the 2023 Rookie of the Year Standings, during the 2023 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos during the 2023 rodeo year.
