Gate #3 is located one block West 3rd and Grand intersection . SR - Three go-rounds held during slack Wed., Sept. 21 at 9 AM. Extras will be used to replace sick or injured animals. GROUND RULES: ALL CONTESTANTS - The “30-hour replacement” rule and the “walk-up replacement” policy will be in effect. See Rodeo Entry Information page of the business journal. The check in deadline for alternates to be considered as walk-up replacements for this event will be one hour prior to the performance. GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hour after entries close. FORMAT: May be one or two go-rounds, depending on the number of entries. Back-to-back, same performance if two go-rounds. ALL CONTESTANTS - A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at this event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event during the same performance as the event. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn per the rulebook. The event will count towards the official rodeo count for any contestant that turns-out after stock callbacks, whether that contestant is replaced or not. PAY-OFF: 6% of total purse is to be deducted prior to the pay-off and sent in with results. ALL PERCENTAGES WILL BE DIVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH RULEBOOK. NOTE: Money won at this event will count towards qualifications for the 2022 National Finals Rodeo and the 2022 Rookie of the Year Standings, as long as the contestant has entered and competed in a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos during the 2022 rodeo year. GROUND RULES: The 2022 Mountain States Steer Roping Circuit Finals cut-off date will be Aug. 19, 2022. Any rodeo ending on or before this date will count towards the 2022 rodeo season. Any rodeo ending after this will count toward the 2023 rodeo season. Total money above includes estimated $3,000 committee purse, $3,000 estimated PRCA matching funds., estimated sponsor funds of $6,533.00, and estimated $3 fund is $500. ALL CONTESTANTS - Re-entries will be accepted for available position on Fri., Sept. 9 between 9 AM and 11 AM. Re- entries will be accepted if the number of entries for an event at the original entry closing time is less than limit defined in the ground rules. If more contestants enter during the “re-entry” period than there are positions available, the contestants accepted will be based on the qualification procedures defined in the Circuit Finals ground rules. Under no circumstances will a contestant who entered during the re- entry period be able to displace a contestant who entered during the original entry period. If a contestant TO’s or DR’S prior to the “re-entry” period, that position may be filled during the “re-entry” period . SR - 5 go-rounds, all run on Mon., Sept. 19 at 12 PM.
