SAN ANGELO TX OCTOBER 30-31 ROPING FIESTA ARENA: San Angelo Outdoor Arena ADDRESS: 70 East 43rd PERFS: 2 Perfs: October 30-1:00 PM; October 31-12:00 PM EVENTS: TD @ $20000 SR @ $12500 SPECIAL ENTRY FEES: TD-$1075; SR-$1075 PERMITS: TD SR GROUND RULES: ALL EVENTS - The “30-hour replacement” rule and the “walk-up replacement” policy will be in effect. The alternate list will be based on 2021 World Standings. STOCK DRAW: All three go-rounds will be drawn prior to the beginning of the first go-round. There will be on animal for every entry plus adequate extras. The extras will be designated by the event representative or his designee. After the completion of each go-round, all extras will be run and will be used to replace any sick or injured animals. The misdraw procedure will not be used. Fresh animals will be used in the finals. QUALIFICATIONS:TD - 35 entries. The top 29 from 2021 PRCA World Standings that enter will be accepted. Six will advance from a qualifying event held on October 30. Entry fees will be $1,075 plus a $35 stock charge. TD - Hand pull barrier will be used. The length of the score will be approved by the event representative. TD PAY-OFF: The following amounts could decrease due to doctors released contestants who are not replaced (which would result in less entry fee money in the total pay-off) or the amounts could increase due to turned out contestants who are replaced (which would result in more entry fee money in the total pay- off). TD FORMAT AND PAY-OFF: Three go-rounds with a top 12 finals all on Saturday, October 24. The go-rounds and the average will each pay 6 places. Each go- round pays: $3,318.76 for 1st - 29%; $2,746.56 for 2nd - 24%; $2,174.36 for 3rd - 19%; $1,602.16 for 4th - 14%; $1,029.96 for 5th - 09%; $572.20 for 6th - 05%. The average pays: $6,637.52 for 1st; $5,493.12 for 2nd; $4,348.72 for 3rd; $3,204.32 for 4th; $2,059.92 for 5th; $1,144.40 for 6th. Finals: $800 for 1st; $600 for 2nd; $400 for 3rd; $200 for 4th . ALL EVENTS - Re-entries will be accepted on Thurs., October 21 between 9 AM and 12 PM for any available positions. TRADE DEADLINE - Wed., Oct. 20 at 5 PM. QUALIFICATIONS: BB, SB, BR - 36 minimum entries (12 per performance). No compensation. No slack. Qualifications will be 70% from 2021 PRCA World Standings, 20% from 2021 Circuit Standings, and 10% random draw. One go- round with the first and second place contestants each performance advancing to a bonus round during that same performance. If the first and/or second place contestant declines advancement to the bonus round, the contestant with the next highest score will advance (if the next highest score is tied, a flip of a coin will determine who advances). If there are 8 or less entries per performance at the time that the entries close, the committee has the option to cancel the event or have two go-rounds, back to back, same performance. PAY-OFF: The long go-round will be paid off per the rulebook. $1,000 per performance will be held out of the total purse for the bonus round(s). Winner takes all in the bonus round(s). If there are no qualified rides in an event in the bonus round, $500 (of the $1,000) will be added back to the pay- off for the long go-round, and $500 will be split between the two qualifiers for the bonus round and will be considered ground money. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn 3 hours prior to each performance by the judges. Re-rides and the re-ride order will be designated by the stock contractor. Any animal turned-out in a performance will automatically become the first re-ride prior to using the designated re-rides. If more than one animal is turned-out in a performance, a random draw will determine which animal will be the first re-ride. The bonus round stock will be designated by the stock contractor and no re-rides will be given during the bonus round. In order for money won at this event to count for qualifying for the 2021 National Finals Rodeo or the 2021 Rookie of the Year Standings, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos during the 2021 rodeo year. Money won at this event will not count for All Around Standings, circuit standings, or towards a circuit participation rodeo count.

The length of the score will be approved by the event representative. SR PAY-OFF: The following amounts could decrease due to doctors released contestants who are not replaced (which would result in less entry fee money in the total pay-off) or the amounts could increase due to turned out contestants who are replaced (which would result in more entry fee money in the total pay- off). SR FORMAT AND PAY-OFF: Three go-rounds with a top 10 finals all on Sunday, October 31. The go-rounds and the average will each pay 6 places. Each go- round pays: $2,352.77 for 1st - 29%; $1,947.12 for 2nd - 24%; $1,541.47 for 3rd - 19%; and $1,135.82 for 4th - 14%; $730.17 for 5th - 09%; $405.65 for 6th - 05%. The average pays: $4,705.54 for 1st; $3,894.24 for 2nd; $3,082.94 for 3rd; and $2,271.64 for 4th; $1,460.34 for 5th; $811.30 for 6th. Finals: $600 for 1st; $450 for 2nd; $300 for 3rd; $150 for 4th. TD - If a contestant who is not an active PRCA card or permit member qualifies to advance from the qualifying round to the San Angelo Cinch Roping Fiesta performance on Oct. 30 in the TD, his membership application and dues must be received by the PRCA office no later than 3 PM on Fri., Oct. 29. If his membership application is not received by the deadline, the next highest ranked contestant from the qualifying event will be accepted. In order from money won at this event to count for qualify for the 2022 National Finals Rodeo or the 2022 Rookie of the Year Standings, a TD contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of 40 PRCA Rodeos during the 2022 rodeo year and a SR contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of 15 PRCA rodeos, during the 2022 rodeo year. Money won will count for 2022 PRCA World Standings. It will not count for all Around Standings, circuit standings or towards a contestant’s required circuit participation count.
