LIVESTOCK - Stock must be inspected by the Livestock Superintendent at the time of arrival and must be accompanied by current certified veterinary health papers and certificates as required by Texas Law. Sore, lame, sick, or injured animals will not be accepted and payment will not be issued for these animals. This includes any animal with a wound that, in the PRCA judge’s discretion, is cosmetically questionable. Bred mares in late term of pregnancy or mares with colts will not be accepted. All bulls’ horns must be tipped per PRCA rules. All livestock must have an ownership brand identification brand in compliance with the PRCA Rule Book. Riding event livestock must be removed no later than 12 (NOON), Sunday, October 13, 2019. PAY-OFF: (Amounts may vary if less than the limit enter an event or if there are doctor’s releases or official draw outs). TE - If a timed event animal escapes or a re-run is given for any other reason, the extra will be used. Only escaped animals go back into the herd. TE - In the timed events, there will be one animal for every entry plus adequate extras. TR - Only two loops allowed. QUALIFICATIONS: BB, SB - 30 minimum entries. (80% top money, 20% top circuit). No compensation. No slack. BR - 60 minimum entries. (70% top money, 30% top circuit). If less there are less than 60 entries after the grace period expires, the limit will be 30 minimum entries. No compensation. No slack. TD, SW, TR - 60 minimum entries. (80% top money, 20% top circuit). No compensation. FORMAT: BB, SB - Two go-rounds, back to back, perf to perf, plus a finals (12). ($7,500 held out for finals). The top four (based on money won in the first and second performance) from each back to back group will advance to the finals. Positions 1, 2, and 3 in the finals will be drawn from the fourth place winners in each group. Positions 4, 5, and 6 will be drawn from the 3rd place winners in each group. Positions 7,8, and 9 will be drawn from the second place winners in each group. And positions 10, 11, and 12 will be drawn from the first place winners in each group. There will be no average pay-off. BR - If 60 entries, one go-round plus a top 12 finals. ($3,000 held out for finals). If 60 contestants, the competition order in the finals will be lowest score first and highest score last. If 30 entries, the BB and SB format and pay-off will be implemented. (See notes above). TD, SW, TR - Two go-rounds, back to back, perf to perf, or slack to slack. (30 contestants will compete in both go- rounds in the slack). The top 12 contestants or teams in the average will advance to the finals. Any ground money awarded to a contestant, except for those in the bull riding event, will not count as money won, nor be used in determining money winners who advance. Should any one or more of the qualifiers for the finals be injured or unable to compete, the next highest qualifier in the bracket from which the injured contestant competed will advance. If there is a tie, refer to tie breaker procedures. TIE BREAKER PROCEDURES: 1. Advancement to the finals: If tied, the tie will go to any go-round winner. If still tied the tie will be broken by the single fastest time or highest score in a go-round. If still tied, the tie will be broken by 2019 PRCA World Standings. 2. Rodeo winner (for prizes, etc): If there is a tie, the tie will be broken by the single fastest time or highest score in any go-round. If still tied refer to #1. 3. Nightly winners in the first 6 performances (for prizes, etc): refer to #1. ALL CONTESTANTS, STOCK CONTRACTORS, RODEO OFFICIALS, AND CONTRACT PERSONNEL - Are requested to attend a meeting and rehearsal prior to each contestant’s first performance, scheduled form 5:00 to 6:00 PM in the rodeo arena at the Extraco Events Center in Waco, TX. Contestants qualifying for the finals (performance 7) are required to attend a meeting and rehearsal prior to that performance. ALL CONTESTANTS - Nightly event winners will receive a bonus plus prize if said winner participates in award ceremony and autograph sessions immediately following the rodeo.
