These two contestants in each event will be accepted in addition to the pre established 48 minimum entries accepted in each event at the Rapid City Rodeo. The contestants who were the first place winners in each event will at the permit section will compete at the Rapid City Rodeo during the 4th performance on Saturday night, on Feb. 8. The contestants who were the second place winners in each event at the permit section will compete at the Rapid City Rodeo during 2nd performance on Friday night, on Feb. 7. entries. No compensation. NOTE: In order for money won at this event to count for qualifying for the 2025 National Finals Rodeo or the 2025 Rookie of the Year Standings, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos during the 2025 rodeo year. Money won at this event will not count for All Around Standings, circuit standings, nor will the event be applied to a contestants’ required circuit participation count. STK. FORMAT - One go-round with 8 contestants advancing to a finals. For the first go-round, there will be four sections with 10 contestants competing in each section. The top two contestants from each section based on highest scores will advance to the finals for a total of 8 contestants in the finals (will not exceed 8). If ties result in more than two within a section to advance, a random draw by the judges will determine which of the tied contestants will advance. If there are less than two qualified rides within a section, the contestant with the next highest score from the other sections will advance. If tied, a random draw by the judges will determine which of the tied contestants will advance. The stock contractor will set the four sections of horses. All 40 contestants will draw at all 40 horses and the contestants will compete in the section in which their drawn animals have already been placed. The competition order for the finals will be determined by random draw. The order of the draw will be the same as the competition order. PAY-OFF: 6% of the total amount (added money plus entry fees) will be deducted prior to the pay off for the PRCA. Of the remaining amount, 60% will be allocated to the first go-round (15% to each of the four sections), and 40% will be allocated to the finals. Each section will pay two places (60% for first place and 40% for second place). The finals will pay four places. Any ties in the sections or the finals will be paid in accordance with the PRCA rulebook. ALL CONTESTANTS - A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Broncs Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Broncs Event.
