Change B9.4.6.1 Selection and Qualification . Contract Personnel are eligible to accept any one U.S. Circuit Finals Rodeo of his/her choosing. Participation in more than one U.S. Circuit Finals Rodeo by any Contract Personnel without prior written permission, approved by the PRCA Circuit Coordinator, will constitute an automatic $1,000 fine to the individual accepting his/her second U.S. Circuit Finals Rodeo contract, as well as forfeiting all bonus money and advancement to the NCFR as referred to in all other rules. Contract Personnel for a U.S. Circuit Finals Rodeo, except for bullfighters and pickup men, shall be selected by the Circuit Board of Directors from among those Contract Personnel who are Financially Eligible and must have worked participated in at least four PRCA – approved rodeos with a minimum of ten total rodeo performances in the category applied for in the current (applicable) PRCA Rodeo Year. For purposes of this Bylaw, rodeos at which a Contract Personnel Member works only in a slack, shall not count towards the minimum number of rodeos or performances required to participate at a circuit finals. Bullfighters and pickup men shall be selected by the vote of the eligible contestants in their respective events. (CPEC 03/23) Tabled by BOD 08/2024 Change B9.4.6.2 Announcers. To be eligible to participate as an announcer at a U.S. Circuit Finals Rodeo, that announcer must work have participated in at least four PRCA-approved rodeos with a minimum of ten total PRCA rodeo performances in the category applied for in the same Rodeo Year the U.S. Circuit Finals Rodeo is being held. For purposes of this Bylaw, rodeos at which a Contract Personnel Member works only in a slack shall not count towards the minimum number of rodeos or performances required to participate at the circuit finals . Any announcer that does not meet this requirement and announces at a U.S. Circuit Finals Rodeo will be fined $500 per offense . (CPEC -3/23) Tabled by BOD 08/2024 New B10.4.5 Tournament Style Format . Must have added money of $130,000 per event (with equal money in team roping). The payoff structure must be approved by the event representatives. Contestants are placed in brackets, advance to a Semi Finals or Progressive Round based on highest scores or fastest times, or in some cases based on money won, and then advance to a Finals and possibly also a Shoot-Out round. Each bracket may consist of one or more performances. A specified number of contestants advance from each bracket or performance to the Semi-Finals performances (or Wild Card Round in some cases). A specified number of contestants advance from the Semi-Finals to the Finals. In most cases, there is no average payoff at a Tournament Style rodeo. There is a separate payoff for the brackets, the Semi-Finals, the Wild Card Round, the Finals, and the Shoot-Out Round. Details for advancement and payoff for each individual rodeo will be outlined in the ground rules for that specific rodeo. Stock is drawn 24 hours prior to first performance and stock needs to be turned in and screened 48 hours before the first draw. (C. Rostockyj 3/23) Tabled by BOD 08/2024 2026 Rule Proposals Change R1.2.15 Limited Entry Qualifications The entry qualifications for limited rodeos will be as follows, provided that in no case will the Rodeo Committee be charged for more than 20 draw outs, except for Bull Riding and are otherwise subject to the requirements for early season limited rodeos set forth in R1.2.15 below:

All permits will be accepted first. If the number of permit entries exceed the limit, a random draw will determine which entries will be accepted. If there are remaining available positions after all permits are accepted, a random draw of all circuit entries will fill the remaining positions. If there are still remaining available positions, a random draw of all other entries will fill the remaining positions. At one performance rodeos, all circuit permits will be accepted first. If there are still remaining available positions, a random draw from all permits entered will fill any remaining available positions. If there are still positions avail able a random draw from all circuit entries will fill the available positions. And finally, if there are still remaining available po sitions, a random draw of all other entries will fill any remaining positions. No exemptions.
