This format will result in 40 contestants total per event. The 2024 RODEOHOUSTON Super Series is an independent production of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Inc. (‘HLSR”). 4.2 ENTRY PROCEDURES: Bareback Riding, Barrel Racing, Bull Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping Headers, Team Roping Heelers and Tie-Down Roping will consist of 40 contestants each (see 4.2 below). For entry to be accepted and to be eligible to compete, athletes must secure current PRCA membership by Dec. 20, 2023. Past RODEOHOUSTON Champions must have also purchased their card by the previous Dec., 20, 2022 deadline in order for the invitation to remain effect for 2024. Should Champion of the PRCA Permit Finals, Waller County (Hempstead, TX) and Fort Bend County (Rosenberg, TX) be the same contestant, the contestant will fill one invitation spot with the remainder of positions being filled as noted as of the sixth point below.
