ALL EVENTS - There will be an extended grace period for the entries for San Antonio on Mon., Jan. 16, which is the first business day after the qualifier, from 8:30AM to 4PM for contestants to change preferences and buddy groups at San Antonio. At this time, team ropers will also be allowed to designate or change partners. TE: The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Qualifier and the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo will each count as separate rodeos. All entries are official unless contestant specifies otherwise at time of entry. PAYOFF: $5,000 added purse plus entry fees. All confirmed trades will be final and will be processed immediately after both involved parties confirm through PROCOM. COMPETITION FORMAT - 80 minimum entries. One go-round with finals (top 10 each performance). Approximately 40 contestants will compete during each performance with the top 10 (will not exceed 10) advancing to a finals during each performance. (The payoff for the long go-round, the finals and the average will be determined by the highest scores from both combined performances). If there are not 10 qualified rides during a performance, all remaining positions will be filled by random draw. If the 10th contestant is tied going into the final round, the tie will be broken by the back judge. If he cannot break the tie, all tied contestants will draw chips to see who advances to the finals. QUALIFICATIONS: 100% top money. No exemptions. A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Bulls Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls Event. CHECK-IN: Contestants must check-in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. ALTERNATES: PROCOM will establish an alternate list, based on 2022 money won. Contestants who are placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event that conflicts with the X-Bulls event will not be used as an alternate. Contestants may check in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. TD - There will be a disqualification for jerk down as long as all criteria are in compliance with the jerk down policy . SR - 50 minimum entries. No compensation. No exemptions. No entry fees. The top 45 based on 2022 money won who enter will be accepted and the top 5 based on 2023 money won (as of 7 days prior to entry closing) who enter will be accepted. There will be three complete go-rounds occurring on January 14 in Uvalde, TX at the Uvalde County Fairplex located at 215 Veterans Lane, Uvalde, TX. The first two complete go- rounds will be run on January 14 at 9 AM. The top 15 in the average after the first two go-rounds will compete during the performance at 7:00 PM on January 14. The competition order of these 15 contestants will be based on the contestant’s time in the average. The remaining 35 contestants will compete immediately following the completion of the second go-round. The competition order for these 35 contestants will be in accordance with R2.5.3.A. If ties in the average result in more than 15 contestants to be placed in the performance, the tied contestant(s) with the single fastest time in any go-round will be placed in the performance. Extras will be used to replace any sick or injured animals. The misdraw procedure will not be used. Stock charge --$45 per go-round. The payoff will be in accordance with the PRCA Rule Book. If there is a tie for the winner of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo Steer Roping, the tie will be broken by the single fastest time in any go-round. If still tied, the tie will be broken by any go-round winner. If still tied, it will be broken based on 2022 money won. The entries for the SR event will open and close at the same time as Uvalde. Entries will open December 30 at 10 AM and entries will close January 3 at 10 AM. TE - If a tie results in more than 15 to advance to the performance, the contestant (or team) with the single fastest time in either go-round will advance. If still tied, ties will be broken based on 2022 money earned. TE: The Qualifying Rodeo will take place Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 7PM. The top fifteen (15) in each event from slack on a two-head average will compete. The top ten (10) contestants or teams from each event based on a 3-head average at the San Antonio Rodeo Qualifier will be eligible to enter the San Antonio Rodeo in February and placed in the brackets, along with the 40 contestants or teams already qualified. Ties will be broken based on fastest time in any of the go-rounds. TE - If a timed event animal escapes (or a re-run is due for any other reason), the extra will be used. Only escaped animals go back into the herd. NOTIFY PROCOM - Following qualification, you must notify PROCOM by Mon., Jan. 16 at 12PM of your intent to enter the San Antonio Stock Show &

ALL CONTESTANTS WITH HORSES - In-state origin and out-of-state origin: All horses must have proof of current health papers issued within 30 days and a negative Coggins Test within the previous 12 months. Health papers for any horse must not expire while horse is on grounds. ALL CONTESTANTS - Stalls and RV hookups will be available for rent on a first come, first serve basis. QUALIFICATIONS: Open to all card holding members and permit holders who have not already qualified for the 2023 San Antonio Rodeo. Top 35 from 2022 money won and the top 5 from 2023 money won will be ineligible to enter the Qualifier. FORMAT - Monday, January 9, 2023, through Friday, January 13, 2023 at the Uvalde County Fairplex located at 215 Veterans lane, Uvalde, TX. BB & SB - Monday, January 9th and Wednesday, January 11th at 9AM. BR - Tuesday, January 10th at 3PM and Wednesday, January 11th at 5PM. BB, SB, BR - $5,000 will be held out for the finals. RE - One head only. Top 15 scores advance to the performance on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 7PM. Payoff per the rulebook. If there are not 15 scores or a tie occurs, placement will be based on 2022 money earned. If still not enough, placement will be assigned by a random draw. ALL CONTESTANTS - The top 10 in each event in the Qualifying Rodeo on Saturday, January 14, 2023, based on a 2-head average will be eligible to enter the San Antonio Rodeo in February and placed in the brackets, along with the 40 contestants already qualified in each event. If there are not 10 scores or a tie occurs, placement will be assigned using the highest marked score from the qualifying round. If still not enough, placement will be assigned by a random draw. RE - Riding stock for the Qualifying performance will be drawn at least 24 hours prior to the performance. RE - Three re-rides will be available (and on site) for each performance for each of the riding events. In addition, three more re-rides will be designated to be used, “only if needed”, in the case that one or more of the three originally designated re-rides are used to replace a sick or injured animal that was drawn by a contestant.
