ALL CONTESTANTS - There will be no moves at Jackson and San Antonio due to qualifying for the finals at this event. PAYOFF - 6% of the total amount (added money plus entry fees) will be deducted prior to the payoff and sent in with the results. Payoff will be in accordance with the Rule Book. NOTE: Money won at this event will count towards 2023 PRCA World Standings and 2023 Rookie of the Year Standings, as long as a contestant has entered and competed at a minimum of 40 PRCA rodeos during the 2023 rodeo year. Money won at this event will not count towards All Around or Circuit Standings, not will the event be applied to a contestant’s required circuit participation count. STK. COMPETITION FORMAT - 43 minimum entries. One go-round. May be two go-rounds back to-back, same performance depending on the number of entries. If two go-rounds, the number of contestants accepted during the re-entry period will not exceed one half the original limit. QUALIFICATIONS: - 100% top money. No exemptions. ALL CONTESTANTS - A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Bulls Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls. The matinee performance at San Antonio Feb. 11 will not be considered a conflict. GROUND RULES: Only actual contestant and one companion allowed gate access. Any contestant who turns-out of the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo or the San Antonio Xtreme Bulls Event without a valid doctor release or visible injury will not be eligible to enter the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo or the San Antonio Xtreme Bulls Event in 2024. ALL CONTESTANTS - If a contestant’s actions are deemed detrimental to the PRCA, the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, or rodeo in general, that contestant will not be accepted as an entry at San Antonio in 2024. COMPETITION FORMAT: One 50 contestant go round with top 10 finals (will not exceed 10). If there are not 10 qualified rides, all remaining positions will be filled by random draw by the judges. If the 10th qualifier is tied going into the final round, the tie will be broken by the back judge. If he cannot break the tie, all tied contestants will draw chips to see who advances to the finals. QUALIFICATIONS: 50 maximum entries. No compensation. No slack. No entry fees. The 50 contestants who were accepted as entries for the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo will be entered in the San Antonio X-Bulls Event on Feb. 19. Any contestant who turns out of any go-round or semi-final without a valid doctor release or visible injury release will not be allowed to compete in the Xtreme Bulls Event. In the event a contestant is injured while competing in the regular bracket system at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo and has a valid doctor’s release, he will still be eligible to compete in San Antonio’s Div. 1 Xtreme Bulls if he qualifies. CHECK-IN: Contestants must check-in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. LIABILITY RELEASE - All contestants MUST sign a release of liability with the secretary before competing in this rodeo. ALTERNATES: Alternates will be selected from a list established by PROCOM based on 2022 money won. A contestant who is placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event that conflicts with the San Antonio Xtreme Bulls Event will not be eligible to be used as an alternate. A contestant may check in with or call the arena secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm his availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing. If a contestant notifies a turn-out and is replaced by an alternate, the event will not count for the official rodeo count for the turned-out contestant. If he is not replaced the event will count towards the official rodeo count. In the case of a non-notified turn-out, the event will count towards the official rodeo count. If a contestant turns-out of a Div. 1 event after the stock draw and a replacement is not found, he will
