A 30-day certificate of veterinary inspection is required for all horses arriving from outside the state of Florida. Horses that arrive without appropriate paperwork will not be permitted to unload. SR - Two go-rounds each day. Extras will be used to replace sick or injured animals. The misdraw procedure will not be used. Only the first 3 animals in each go-round will be required to run in drawn order. Contestants are required to go to a minimum of 15 PRCA rodeos during the 2023 rodeo year for the money won at this even to count towards 2023 World standings or the 2023 Rookie of the Year standings. Money will count towards circuit standings and this event will be applied towards a circuit count. Money won at this event will not count toward All Around standings. STK. CONT.: VARIOUS LEGACY STEER ROPING WICKENBURG AZ MARCH 20-21 WICKENBURG LEGACY STEER ROPING ARENA: Downtown Arena ADDRESS: 520 N Tegner St PERFS: 2 Perfs: March 20-5:00 PM; March 21 10:00 AM EVENTS: SR SPECIAL ENTRY FEES: SR-$400 PERMITS: SR GROUND RULES: Contestants who choose to enter the Legacy Steer Roping event must be at least 50 years old at the time of entry closing or a permit member. They must also be entered in the steer roping event at the Wickenburg Steer Roping Event. To be eligible, the contestant must not have been an NFSR qualifier during the past three years. Permit members of all ages will also be eligible to enter. Contestants will pay additional entry fees of $400. Contestants will not compete on any additional steers. The times that are recorded for the contestant’s competition runs at the Wickenburg Steer Roping Event will be used to determine the pay-off. Pay-off will only include the entry fees for the contestants who entered the Legacy Steer Roping through PROCOM. 6% will be held out of the total amount for the PRCA prior to the pay-off. Only the four go- rounds and the average after four go- rounds will be included in the pay-off for the Legacy Steer Roping. There will be no additional added money and since no additional animals will be run, there will be no additional stock charge of PROCOM charge. Money won in the Legacy Steer Roping will not count towards PRCA World Standings, circuit standings, All Around standings, or for money won qualifications. It will count only towards qualifying for the Legacy Steer Roping Finals held in conjunction with the National Finals Steer Roping.
