COMPETITION FORMAT - 80 minimum entries. One go-round with finals (top 10 each performance). Approximately 40 contestants will compete during each performance with the top 10 (will not exceed 10) advancing to a finals during each performance. The pay-off for the long go-round, the finals, and the average, will be determined by the highest scores from both combined performances. If there are not 10 qualified rides during a performance, all remaining positions will be filled by random draw. If the 10th contestant is tied going into the final round, the tie will be broken by the back judge. If he cannot break the tie, all tied contestants will draw chips to see who advances to the finals. If there are less than 50 entries, (25 each performance), the format will be two go-rounds, back-to-back, same performance with no finals. QUALIFICATIONS - 70% top money, 30% top circuit. NOTIFY PROCOM : Notification must be made at the time of entry if claiming an exemption from qualification. Anyone claiming an exemption must have entered and paid fees at a minimum of twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2021 rodeo year, unless the contestant qualifies for a medical exemption. Contestants claiming medical exemptions must have been injured at least six (6) months during the 2021 rodeo year. Contestant must not have entered and paid fees at more than twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2021 rodeo year. A letter from a licensed physician on doctor’s letterhead bearing the doctor’s name, address, and phone number must be received by the PRCA National Office prior to entry opening, A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Bulls Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls event. CHECK-IN: Contestants must check in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. ALTERNATES: Alternates will be selected from a list established by PROCOM based on 2021 money won. A contestant who is placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the Xtreme Bulls Event will not be eligible to be used as an alternate. Contestants may check in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn by that contestant. If a contestant turns-out (notified or non-notified) or VIR’s he will be responsible to pay entry fees whether he is replaced or not. The alternate contestant will also responsible to pay entry fees. Also, if a contestant turns-out of an X-Bulls event and is not replaced, he will receive a $250 fine (does not include DR’s and VIR’s). If a contestant properly doctor releases he will not be responsible for entry fees, nor will the event be applied to his official rodeo count. RE-RIDES - After all replacements have been made, any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) will be used as re-rides prior to using the designated re- ride(s). PAY-OFF: 6% of the total purse is to be deducted prior to the pay-off and sent in with the results. The pay-off will be determined on the highest marked scores. 30% of the total remaining will be allocated to the long go-round (which includes both performances), pays 8 places, 20% will be

allocated to the final go-round (which includes the finals from both performances), pays 6 places, and 50% will be allocated to the average, pays 8 places. ALL PERCENTAGES WILL BE DIVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULE BOOK. In the event that there are not enough qualified rides in the first go-round, a random draw-back list will be used to select contestants to fill the remaining positions in the finals. Contestants who did not have a score in the first go- round will not be eligible to place in the average. Money won by any contestant in the finals will count towards World Standings, X-Bulls Standings, and Rookie of the Year Standings. NOTE: In order for money won in Xtreme Bulls Competitions to count for the 2022 National Finals Rodeo or the 2022 Rookie of the Year Standings, during the 2022 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA Rodeos. Money won will count for PRCA World Standings and Xtreme Bulls Standings. It will not count for All Around, nor will it count towards a contestant’s required participation count.
