The deadline for “walk- up replacement” will be one hour prior to the performance. The alternate list will be based on 2019 PRCA World Standings. The alternate will compete on the animal that is drawn for the contestant the he is replacing. GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hour after entries close. ALL EVENTS - Re-entries will be accepted on Fri., Feb. 7 between 9 AM and 12 PM for any available positions. TRADE DEADLINE - Fri., Feb., 7 at 5 PM. QUALIFICATIONS: BB, SB, BR - 24 minimum entries (12 per performance). No compensation. No slack. (See R1.2.15, R1.2.15.1, and R1.2.15.2 for qualifications). One go-round with the first and second place contestants each performance advancing to a bonus round during that same performance. If the first and/or second place contestant declines advancement to the bonus round, the contestant with the next highest score will advance (if the next highest score is tied, a flip of a coin will determine who advances). If there are 8 or less entries per performance at the time that the entries close, the committee has the option to cancel the event or have two go-rounds, back to back, same performance. PAY-OFF: The long go-round will be paid off per the rulebook. $1,000 per performance will be held out of the total purse for the bonus round(s). Winner takes all in the bonus round(s). If there are no qualified rides in an event in the bonus round, $500 (of the $1,000) will be added back to the pay- off for the long go-round, and $500 will be split between the two qualifiers for the bonus round (as ground money). STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn 3 hours prior to each performance by the judges. Re-rides and the re-ride order will be designated by the stock contractor. Any animal turned-out in a performance will automatically become the first re-ride prior to using the designated re-rides. If more than one animal is turned-out in a performance, a random draw will determine which animal will be the first re-ride. The bonus round stock will be designated by the stock contractor and no re-rides will be given during the bonus round. In order for money won at this event to count for qualifying for the 2020 National Finals Rodeo or the 2020 Rookie of the Year Standings, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos. Any ties for the top 3 positions will be broken by random draw. QUALIFICATIONS: ALL EVENTS - 10 entries. 5 from 2019 money won. 5 from 2020 money won. No exemptions. In the TR, the 10 headers that qualify must rope with the 10 heelers that qualify. If a contestants partner is drawn out due to qualification, the contestant who qualified will not be allowed to draw out. A replacement partner will be drawn at random from the other contestants whose partners were drawn out due to qualifications. If a header or heeler T.O.’s or D,R.’s prior to the 30-hour deadline, leaving an incomplete team, the next contestant in the corresponding category (header or heeler) on the alternate list will be added. If a notification is not made prior to the 30-hour deadline, the remaining partner may select another partner from among any of the PRCA event contestants already entered at the rodeo, except those scheduled to compete in the TR. PAY-OFF FOR THE FINALS: $7,500 for first, $3,000 for second, and $2,000 for third. Total of $12,500. If there are not 3 qualified scores or times in the Chute Out Round, the remaining placings will be paid based on highest scores or fastest times from the long go-round. There will be no pay-out for the long go-round. Only money paid out to a contestant without a qualified score or time in either go-round will be considered ground money. All other money paid out will count for PRCA World Standings, but will not count for circuit standings. This event will not count towards the required circuit participation count.
