GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hour after entries close. COMPETITION FORMAT - 80 minimum entries. May be two go-rounds back to back, same performance depending on the number of entries. If two go-rounds, the number of contestants accepted during the re-entry period will not exceed one half the original limit. IN ORDER OF SELECTION : - 70% top money - 30% top circuit NOTIFY PROCOM : Notification must be made at the time of entry if claiming an exemption from qualification. Anyone claiming an exemption must have entered and paid fees at a minimum of twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2019 rodeo year, unless the contestant qualifies for a medical exemption. Contestants claiming medical exemptions must have been injured at least six (6) months during the 2019 rodeo year. Contestant

horses, the remaining contestants who have not received a re-ride, will be drawn a re- ride from the original performance herd draw (horses used in that particular performance. 11.3 Per HLSR’s standards of humane treatment of animals the use of hot shots, electrical prods and/or sharp instruments, excluding spurs, are strictly forbidden in the chute areas and within the confines of the arena. 11.4 Scoring: four judges will be used. The four (4) judges’ sub-totals will be added together. (a) Two (2) judges will solely score/mark the spur (rider), and the other two judges will solely score the stock performance. 11.5 Contestants will not be disqualified for failing to spur-out a horse. The judges will have the discretion to deduct points for failing to spur-out a hours. 11.6 All other rules issues pertaining to Bareback and Saddle Bronc Riding will be governed by the RULE BOOK. 11.7 All other rules issues pertaining to the Bull Riding will be governed by the RULE BOOK. 12. APPEARANCES, PRESS AND MEDIA: 12.1 Contestants must be photographed by RODEOHOUSTON photographer and videographer at the tie of entry check- in. These photos will be used for big- screen presentation, television, rodeo contestant wall, social media and website. 12.2 Contestants agree to be available to HLSR staff for media interviews during the days/evenings that they are participating in the RODEOHOUSTON Super Series rodeos, the RODEOHOUSTON Super Series Semifinals, the RODEOHOUSTON Super Series Wild Card Performance and the RODEOHOUSTON Super Series Championship. 12.3 As stipulated in the Contestant Agreement, contestants agree to participate in promotional activities at NRG Stadium (upon request of HLSR staff and management) which may include receptions, breakfasts, dinners and cordial “meet and greet” appearances in sponsor/client suites. HLSR will be judicial in these requests and will limit the amount of time and number of requests made upon the contestants. 12.4 Contestants agree to make “best case” efforts to be available for public appearances that may be outside of NRG Stadium and, on occasion, outside the boundaries of NRG Park. HLSR agrees to cover out-of-pocket expenses incurred by the Contestant in conjunction with appearances outside of NRG Stadium plus an honorarium of $100 per appearance if scheduled by staff/management of HLSR. If the appearance is not conducted on a day/ evening in which the Contestant is competing (at RODEOHOUSTON), an additional honorarium will be negotiated. 12.5 AUTOGRAPH SESSIONS AND BONUS FEES: (a) RODEOHOUSTON Contestants agree to sign autographs in the “Fan Zone presented by Texas Farm Bureau” (contestant autograph areas) immediately following their event, for a minimum of 20 minutes. i. Contestants will be paid $100 per performance (in which they’ve competed only, and must be paid immediately following the autograph session). In the event that a contestant does not advance from his or her Super Series to a Semifinal round, and he or she has signed autographs all three performances of his or he Super Series, he or she will be given a $200 bonus following the third performance autograph signing. ***CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND CONTESTANTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN AUTOGRAPHS*** STK. must not have entered and paid fees at more than twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2019 rodeo year. A letter from a licensed physician on doctor’s letterhead bearing the doctor’s name, address and phone number must be received by the PRCA National Office prior to entry opening. A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Bulls Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls event. CHECK-IN: Contestants must check in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. ALTERNATES: Alternates will be selected from a list established by PROCOM based on 2018 money won. (Only contestants who were drawn out due to qualifications or conflicts will be selected as alternates). A contestant who is placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the Xtreme Bulls Event will not be eligible to be used as an alternate. Contestants who have originally entered and were eligible at time of entry may check in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant notifies a turn-out (or a VIR) and is replaced by an alternate, the alternate contestant will be responsible for the entry fees. The rodeo will not count toward the official rodeo count for the turned-out contestant. If the contestant that notified the turn-out (or VIR) is not replaced by an alternate, he will be responsible for the entry fees and the rodeo will count towards the official rodeo count. Any non-notified turn-out will be responsible for entry fees and the rodeo will count towards the official rodeo count, even if they are replaced. The alternate will also be responsible for entry fees. RE-RIDES - After all replacements have been made, any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out (includes DR’s & VIR’s) will be used as re-rides prior to using the designated re-ride(s). PAY-OFF: 6% of the total purse is to be deducted prior to the pay-off and sent in with the results. The pay-off will be determined on the highest marked scores. NOTE: In order for money won in Xtreme Bulls Competition to count for the 2019 National Finals Rodeo or the 2020 Rookie of the Year Standings, during the 2020 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos. Money won will count for PRCA World Standings and Xtreme Bulls Standings. It will not count for All Around, circuit standings or towards a circuit rodeo count.
