One go-round with finals (top 10 each performance). Approximately 40 contestants will compete during each performance with the top 10 (will not exceed 10) advancing to a finals during each performance. (The payoff for the long go-round, the finals and the average will be determined by the highest scores from both combined performances). If there are not 10 qualified rides during a performance, all remaining positions will be filled by random draw. If the 10th contestant is tied going into the final round, the tie will be broken by the back judge. If he cannot break the tie, all tied contestants will draw chips to see who advances to the finals. IN ORDER OF SELECTION : 90% top money, 10% random draw of exemptions. NOTIFY PROCOM - Notification must be made at the time of entry if claiming an exemption from qualification. least six (6) months during the 2021 rodeo year. Contestant must not have entered and paid fees at more than twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos or events held during the 2021 rodeo year. A letter from a licensed physician on doctor’s letterhead bearing the doctor’s name, address and phone number, must be received by the PRCA National Office prior to entry opening. If contestant with a medical exemption is drawn (during the random draw of exemptions) his “money won” from the year previous to the qualification category being considered will be used to determine whether or not he will be accepted (if he was injured for 6 months during the 2021 rodeo year, his “money won” from the 2020 rodeo year will be used in comparison to the “money won” from the 2021 rodeo year for the other contestants entered). A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Bulls Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls Event. CHECK-IN: Contestants must check-in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. ALTERNATES: PROCOM will establish an alternate list, based on 2021 money won. (Only contestants drawn out due to qualifications or conflicts will be selected as alternates). Contestants who are placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event that conflicts with the X-Bulls event will not be used as an alternate. Contestants who have originally entered and were eligible at time of entry may check-in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant notifies a turn-out (or VIR) and is replaced by an alternate, the alternate contestant will be responsible for the entry fees. The rodeo will not count toward the official rodeo count for the turned-out contestant. If a contestant turns-out (notified or non- notified) or VIR’s he will be responsible to pay entry fees whether he is replaced or not. The alternate contestant will also be responsible to pay entry fees. Also, if a contestant turns-out of an X-Bulls event and is not replaced, he will receive a $250 fine (does not include DR’s and VIR’s). If a contestant properly doctor releases he will not be responsible for entry fees, nor will the event be applied to his official rodeo count. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn per the rulebook. The event will count toward the official rodeo count for any contestant that turns-out after stock callbacks, whether that contestant is replaced or not. Contestants who qualify for the finals may be requested by the committee to draw their own animal from a hat containing poker chips inscribed with animals’ numbers in the arena or other designated area prior to the finals. This determination may be based on production factors. FINALS STOCK - The order of the bulls to be used in the finals of an Xbulls Event will be randomly drawn by the judges and listed in order on the judges’ sheets prior to the first go-round of competition. The contestant with the lowest score will be listed first and the contestant with the highest score will be listed last with an animal already designated to that position. The order of any ties will be determined by a random draw by the judges. HONEST EFFORT: At any Division 1 Xtreme Bull Riding Event, a contestant must make an honest effort to compete on the stock drawn for such contestant. If in the opinion of the Pro Official, the contestant has the opportunity to nod for the bull

The deadline for “walk- up replacement” will be two hours prior to the performance. The alternate will compete on the animal that is drawn for the contestant that he is replacing. GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hour after entries close. ALL EVENTS - Re-entries will be accepted on Mon., Jan. 10 between 9 AM and 11 AM for any available positions. QUALIFICATIONS: BB, SB, BR - 12 minimum entries. No compensation. No slack. (See R1.2.15, R1.2.15.1, and R1.2.15.2). One go-round with the first and second place contestants each performance advancing to a bonus round during that same performance. If the first and/or second place contestant declines advancement to the bonus round, the contestant with the next highest score will advance (if the next highest score is tied, a flip of a coin will determine who advances). If there are 8 or less entries per performance at the time that the entries close, the committee has the option to cancel the event or have two go-rounds, back-to-back, same performance. If two go-rounds, the number of entries accepted during the re-entry period will not exceed one half of the original limit. PAY-OFF: The long go-round will be paid off per the rulebook. $1,000 per performance will be held out of the total purse for the bonus round(s). Winner takes all in the bonus round(s). If there are no qualified rides in an event in the bonus round, $500 (of the $1,000) will be added back to the pay- off for the long go-round, and $500 will be split between the two qualifiers for the bonus round. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn 3 hours prior to each performance by the judges. Re-rides and the re-ride order will be designated by the stock contractor. Any animal turned-out in a performance will automatically become the first re-ride prior to using the designated re-rides. If more than one animal is turned-out in a performance, a random draw will determine which animal will be the first re-ride. The bonus round stock will be designated by the stock contractor and no re-rides will be given during the bonus round. NOTE: In order for money won at this event to count for qualifying for the 2022 National Finals Rodeo or the 2022 Rookie of the Year Standings, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos during the 2022 rodeo season. Money won at this event will not count for All Around Standings, circuit standings, or towards a circuit rodeo participation count.
