See Rodeo Entry Information Page of the Business Journal. The walk-up deadline for this event is one hour prior to the performance. ALL CONTESTANTS - Re-entries will be accepted for available positions on Mon., Jan. 24 between 9 AM and 11 AM. See Rodeo Entry Information page of the business journal. GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hour after entries close. COMPETITION FORMAT: SB, BR - 25 minimum entries. May be two go-rounds back-to-back, same performance depending on the number of entries. If two go-rounds, the number of contestants accepted during the re-entry period will not exceed one half the original limit. QUALIFICATIONS: SB - 20% top circuit, 80% top money. No exemptions. No slack. BR - 70% top money, 30% top circuit. BR - Notification must be made at the time of entry if claiming an exemption from qualification. Anyone claiming an exemption must have entered and paid fees at a minimum of twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2021 rodeo year, unless the contestant qualifies for a medical exemption. have been injured at least six (6) months during the 2021 rodeo year. Contestant must not have entered and paid fees at more than twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2021 rodeo year. A letter from a licensed physician on doctor’s letterhead bearing the doctor’s name, address and phone number must be received by the PRCA National Office prior to entry opening. SB, BR - A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at this event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as this event. CHECK-IN: Contestants must check in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. ALTERNATES: Alternates will be selected from a list established by PROCOM based on 2021 money won. A contestant who is placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as this event will not be eligible to be used as an alternate. Contestants who have originally entered and were eligible at time of entry may check in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing, and stock will be drawn for the alternate contestant in accordance with the Walk- Up Replacement Policy. If a contestant turns-out (notified or non- notified) or VIR’s he will be responsible to pay entry fees whether he is replaced or not. The alternate contestant will also be responsible to pay entry fees. Also, if a contestant turns-out in the Bull Riding and is not replaced, he will receive a $250 fine (does not include DR’s and VIR’s). If a contestant properly doctor releases he will not be responsible for entry fees, nor will the event be applied to his official rodeo count. RE-RIDES: BR - After all replacements have been made, any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out (includes DR’s & VIR’s) will be used as re-rides prior to using the designated re-ride(s). SB - Designated re-rides will be used prior to using the turned-out animals as re-rides. PAY-OFF: 6% of the total purse is to be deducted prior to the pay-off and sent in with the results. The pay-off will be determined on the highest marked scores. NOTE: In order for money won at this event to count for the 2022 National Finals Rodeo or the 2022 Rookie of the Year Standings, during the 2022 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos. Money won will count for Xtreme Bulls and X-Broncs Standings. It will not count for All Around, circuit standings, nor will the event count towards a contestant’s required circuit participation count. EF’s : $100 If 1/ $150 If 2 plus $35 Central Entry
