The actual competition order will be drawn randomly. Semi finals contestants will have until the start of the 5th bracket to trade positions with another contestant from their bracket for the semi-finals. Contestants qualifying from the 5th and final bracket will have 30 minutes upon the completion of the bracket to trade in the semi-finals. The top 5 from each semi finals (based on total money won from the first three go-rounds plus the semi-finals) will advance to the finals (19th performance). If there is a tie, the tie will be broken by single fastest time or highest marked ride in the semi-finals. If still tied, it will be broken by most money won prior to the semi-finals in the brackets. If still tied, the tie will be broken by any go round winner in the bracket. If still tied, the tie will be broken based on 2023 money won. No previous scores or times will be carried forward. ALL EVENTS - Contestants not progressing to the Finals from the semi- finals will compete in the Wildcard round to be held on Feb. 24th at 12 PM. Single highest marked ride or fastest time advances to take 11th position in the Finals. If there is a tie in the Wildcard, tie will be broken by most money won prior to the Wildcard. If still tied, tie will be broken by highest marked ride or fastest time in semi-finals. If still tied, the ties will be broken based on 2023 money won. No previous scores will be carried forward. In the event no one qualifies, Wildcard winner will be based on most money earned at the end of the semi-finals. The finals (19th performance) will consist of 11 contestants or teams (5 from each of the semi-finals and one from the wild card). The event champion will be determined by most money won at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo in 2024. If there is a tie, the tie will be broken by the single fastest time or highest marked ride in the finals. If still tied, it will be broken by most money won prior to the finals (bracket plus semi- finals). If still tied, the tie will be broken by any go-round winner in the bracket. If still tied, the tie will be broken by 2023 money won. If a contestant who advances to the semi-finals, wild card, or finals turns- out (includes D.R’s, and V.I.R’s), the contestant who has the next highest earnings at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo in that respective bracket or semi-finals, may be placed in that available position. If the next contestant is not available to accept the position, the contestant with the next highest earnings in that respective bracket or semi-finals will be accepted. This procedure will be followed until all positions are filled. ALL EVENTS - Any money won shall not count for Texas Circuit points, nor will the rodeo be applied to a contestant’s required participation count. PAY-OFF - All events. Payoff for the first 15 performances. No average. Each performance pays: 1st $2,500.
