If ties result in more than 2 to advance, a random draw by the judges will determine which of the tied contestants will advance (will not exceed 2). PAYOFF - 6% will be held out of the total amount to be retained for the PRCA prior to the payout. $1000 will be out of the total amount to be paid out for each event for the top 2 Shoot Out Round. The Shoot Out will pay $1000 for first place (per man in the TR). If there are no qualified times or scores in the Shoot Out Round, both contestants (or teams) will be paid $500 (per man in the TR) and all money paid out for the Shoot Out Round will count towards PRCA World Standings. The payoff for the long go-round will be in accordance with the PRCA Rule Book. No TE - Money won at this event will count towards Circuit Standings. If two go-rounds, the number of entries accepted during the re-entry period will not exceed one half the original limit. QUALIFICATIONS: - 70% top money - 30% top circuit. No exemptions. ATTENTION: The first-place winner of this event will automatically be accepted as an entry at the X-Bulls Finale in Pendleton on Sept. 12th and 13th. If ties result in more than one to advance, the tied contestant with the highest ranking in the 2022 X-Bulls Standings will advance to the Finale. Only the first-place winner at this event will reserve a position at the X- Bulls Finale in Pendleton. If the first- place winner is already qualified or chooses not to accept advancement to the X-Bulls Finale due to injury or any other reason, the next highest ranked contestant in the 2022 X-Bulls Standings who enters the Finale will be accepted for that position. A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Bulls event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls event. CHECK-IN: Contestants must check-in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. ALTERNATES: Alternates will be selected from a list established by PROCOM based on 2021 money won, as of 7 days prior to entry closing. Contestants who are placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event that conflicts with the X-Bulls Event will not be eligible to be used as an alternate. Contestants who have originally entered and were eligible at time of entry may check-in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the perf to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant turns-out (notified or non-notified) or VIR’s he will be responsible to pay entry fees whether he is replaced or not. The alternate contestant will also be responsible to pay entry fees. Also, if a contestant turns-out of an X-Bulls event and is not replaced, he will receive a $250 fine (does not include DR’s and VIR’s). If a contestant properly doctor releases he will not be responsible for entry fees nor will the event be applied to his official rodeo count. RE-RIDES: After all replacements have been made, any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) will be used prior to using the designated re-ride(s). PAYOFF: 6% of the total purse is to be deducted prior to the payoff and sent in with the results. The payoff will be determined on the highest marked scores. ALL PERCENTAGES WILL BE DIVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULEBOOK. NOTE: In order for money won at this event to count for the 2022 National Finals Rodeo or the 2022 Rookie of the Year Standings, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos during the 2022 rodeo year. Money won at this event will count towards 2023 X-Bulls Standings. It will not count for All Around standings, and circuit standings or towards a circuit rodeo count.
