Contestants with no money won in 2020 or 2021 who have entered the steer roping event at less than 7 rodeos in 2020 and 2021 combined will not be accepted as entries. The following entrants shall be exempt from this limitation: any PRCA Steer Roping World Champion, any past NFSR qualifiers, and the 2018-2019 Cheyenne Steer Roping Champions. Two go-rounds plus a top 12 finals. All 150 contestants will compete in both go-rounds during the Qualifying round on Thursday, July 22 at 7 AM. The top 12 will advance to the finals on Aug. 1. Each go-round will be paid. No average payoff. There will be a $100 stock charge per contestant. A hand pull barrier will be used and the length of the score will be determined by the committee and the event representative. Only one loop will be allowed. ALL EVENTS - A contestant not ready when called during a performance or qualifying round will be subject to a $100 fine and/or disqualification from that go-round. ALL EVENTS - Ties for CFD Championship will be recognized as co-champions. PAYOFF IN BB, SB, BR , TD, SW, and TR - If there are less qualified scores in the riding events or qualified times in the timed events in the Finals than there are places to be paid, the remaining places will be paid to contestants with no score or no time in the Finals based on highest scores or fastest times in the semi finals, If there are less qualified scores or times in the semi finals than there are places to be paid in the semi finals the remaining places will be paid to contestants with no score or no time in the semi finals based on highest scores or fastest times in the quarter finals. All money paid out will count towards PRCA World Standings. NOTE: Dollar amount may vary if the number of entries are less than the limit in an event. Also, the number of doctor releases and official draw outs will affect the amounts. BB PAY-OFF BREAKDOWN: Committee purse - $67,000, Entry fees (72 x $275) - $19,800, Minus 6% to PRCA - $5,208, Total purse - $81,592. BB PAY-OFF: First 6 performances - $36,716.40 - 45%, Two Semi-Finals performances - $19,174.12 - 23.5%, Finals - $25,701.48 - 31.5%, Total $81,592. BB PERFORMANCE PAY-OFF (first 6 performances): 1st place - $2,447.76 - 40%, 2nd place - $1,835.82 - 30%, 3rd place - $1,223.88 - 20%, 4th place $611.94 - 10%. Total (each perf): $6,119.40 (times 6 perfs is $36,716.40). BB SEMI-FINALS PAY-OFF (7th and 8th perfs): 1st place - $3,163.73 - 33%, 2nd place - $2,396.77 - 25%, 3rd place $1,725.67 - 18%, 4th place - $1,150.45 - 12%, 5th place - $671.09 - 7%, 6th place - $479.35 - 5%. Total $9,587.06 (times 2 perfs is $19,174.12). BB FINALS PAY-OFF: 1st place - $8,481.49 - 33%, 2nd place - $6,425.37 - 25%, 3rd place $4,626.27 - 18%, 4th place - $3,084.18- 12%, 5th place - $1,799.10 - 7%, 6th place - $1,285.07 - 5%. Total $25,701.48. NOTE: Dollar amount may vary if there are less than 72 entries. Also, the number of doctor releases and official draw outs will affect the amounts. Performances, the committee will have the option to fill the Semi Finals (not to exceed 36) based on a random draw by the judges from the contestants who competed and did not have a qualified ride. The contestants with the highest 6 scores from the Semi Finals Performances will advance to the Finals on Sunday, Aug. 1. If there are less than 6 qualified rides in one of the Semi Finals Performances, the contestant with the highest score from the other Semi Finals Performance who has not already qualified will advance. If there are less than 12 qualified rides in the Semi Finals Performances to fill the Finals, the contestants with the highest scores in the Quarter Finals who are not already qualified will advance to the Finals. All ties for the last position in the Finals will be accepted. BR - Placement procedure for the Semi- Finals: First place, third place, and fifth place from performances 1, 3 and 5 and second place, fourth place, and sixth place from performances 2, 4 and 6 will compete in the 7th performance. Second place, fourth place, and sixth place from performances 1, 3, and 5, and first place, third place, and fifth place from performances 2, 4, and 6 will compete in the 8th performance. Contestants will be able to trade in the Semi Finals up to 5 PM on the day prior to the 7th performance. ALL EVENTS - Since there is a pay-off every performance and contestants advance to the Semi- Finals or Finals from each performance or “back to back” group, moves due to qualifying for the finals at Nampa will not be allowed. All trades for the first 6 performances in the riding events and the qualifying round in the timed events will be made through PROCOM and must be confirmed by 5 PM the day prior to the performances. Trades for the Semi-Finals will be done through the rodeo secretary will be allowed up to 5 PM on the day before the first and second performance (to accommodate contestants who have qualified for the finals at Nampa). See the following sections titled “Trade Deadline for BB, SB, and BR” and “Timed Event Trades”. TRADE DEADLINE AND STOCK DRAW for BB, SB, and BR - The first trade deadline will be Friday, July 23 at 5 PM (the day prior to the first performance). There will also be a trade deadline at 5 PM the day prior to the 7th performance. Stock will be drawn each day for the next day. RE-RIDE ANIMALS - Will be used in the following order: 1.) Designated re- ride(s) for that performance, 2.) Available unused animals (notified turn- outs, doctor releases, and visible injuries) for that performance, 3.) Available unused animals (designated re- rides, notified and non-notified turn- outs, visible injures, and doctor releases) from previous performances. QUALIFICATIONS: TD, SW , TR - 144 minimum entries. 80% top money. 20% top circuit. The 2017-2019 Cheyenne Champions will be exempt from qualifications (only in the event in which they were champion). FORMAT: TD, SW, TR - 24 contestants (or teams) will compete in a qualifying round each morning prior to the Quarter Finals Performances, July 24- 29 (the first six performances). The contestants with the 12 fastest times (plus splits) from the qualifying round each morning will advance to the Quarter Finals Performance that same day. If there are less than 12 qualified times in a qualifying round, the committee has the option to fill the performance (not to exceed 12) by a random draw from the contestants in that set who did not have a qualified time. The remaining 12 that do not advance will run their second go- round as a consolation round immediately following the completion of the qualifying round. The contestants with the 4 fastest times (plus splits) from each Quarter Finals Performance will advance

to the Semi Finals Performances (the 7th and 8th performances on July 30 and 31). The top 6 from each Semi Finals Performance will advance to the Finals (9th performance on Sunday, Aug. 1). If ties result in more than 8 to advance from a Semi Finals performance to the Finals, the tie will be broken by the contestants fastest time in the qualifying round. TD, TR PAYOFF : The qualifying round, which will consist of 6 sets of 24 contestants, totaling 144 contestants, will be paid off as one long go-round. The consolation round, which will consist of the 6 sets of 12 contestants, totaling 72, that compete immediately following the qualifying round each morning, will be paid off as a long go-round. Each Quarter Finals Performance will be paid off separately. The Finals will be paid off separately. There will be no average payoff. See below for payoff. SW PAYOFF - In the SW, the first go- round (qualifying round) of each of the six sets of 24 contestants will be paid off individually. The consolation round, consists of the 12 contestants from each of the six sets of 24 contestants who did not advance to the performance (Quarter Finals). Each of the six sets of 12 contestants in the consolation round will be paid off individually. Each Quarter Finals will be paid off separately. The Finals will be paid off separately. There will be no average payoff. See below for payoff. TD - Only one loop allowed. There will be a stock charge of 30$ per contestant. Fresh animals will be used in the first go-round of each Quarter Finals, the Semi-Finals, and the Finals. SW - All splits will be made at Chute 9 one hour prior to the start of the qualifying round or performance. TR - Only two loops allowed. Teams must enter from the back of the box. After a team competes on a steer, the team must release the steer and not impede his progress to the stripping chute. Violation of this is subject to a $100 fine. TD - Pens will be drawn 1 day prior to competition. TD, SW, TR, SR - The length of the score will be determined by the committee in agreement with the event representatives. Committee may use a hand pull barrier. The SW score will be no longer than 20 feet. SW, TR, SR - Pens of animals for all performances and/or Qualifying round will be drawn prior to the beginning of the first performance or Qualifying round as long as there is one animal for every entry plus adequate extras. TD - Pens of calves will be drawn each day. The timed event stock may be drawn the evening prior to the Qualifying Round or performance but the results of the draw will not be posted until one hour prior to the Qualifying Round or performance. All timed event draws will be posted at Chute 9 only. SW , TR - Steers used in the Semi-finals and Finals will be selected by the event representative or his appointee. TIMED EVENT SPLITS - Due to the arena size and production speed, some splits in the Qualifying round may not be consistent with PRCA rules. Contestants are responsible to check their positions after splits and inform the chute boss if there are any issues. TD, SW, TR, SR - If a timed event animal escapes or a re-run is given for any other reason, the extra will be used. Only escaped animals go back into the herd. The misdraw procedure will not be used. An order of extras will be drawn from the sleepers and/ or designated extras. TIMED EVENTS - There will be a $75 charge for every notified and non- notified turn-out for the first go-round of SW and SR, and a $50 charge for the first go-round of the TD (does not include DR’s and VIR’s). TIMED EVENTS - Rule 10.1.2.1 will be waived
