No compensation. No slack. One go-round plus a top 10 finals. BB, SB, BR - $5,000 held out for the finals. ALL EVENTS - If a contestant who qualifies for the finals notifies a TO, DR, or VIR through PROCOM, the next highest ranked contestant from the long go-round may be contacted by PROCOM to replace the contestant who turned out. Non-notified TO’s or VIR after the turn out deadline will not be replaced. If the next highest ranked contestant is not available to accept that position the next highest ranked contestant may be contacted and placed in that position. This procedure will be followed until all positions are filled. The replacement contestant’s competition order will be based on his ranking in the long go-round (not the ranking if the contestant that he is replacing). In the riding events, if an animal has already been drawn for a contestant who has turned out, the replacement contestant will draw from a pool consisting of all animals that have been turned out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) and the first available re-ride. ALL CONTESTANTS - The committee requests that contestants remain at the arena following the Saturday, and Sunday matinee performances to sign autographs in the arena. ALL CONTESTANTS WITH HORSES - The Washington State Fair Rodeo will not be providing stalls for contestants. CONTESTANTS WITH HORSES - Contestants with horses are to stay on the designated contestant shuttle route to the arena and not wander on the fairgrounds. Rodeo committee has clean- up crew scheduled for designated route. Contestants with horses are to parade across from the camping/ parking lot through the livestock gate on the fairgrounds to the arena in the main grandstand 1.5 hours prior to the start of the rodeo perf. Rodeo Committee requests that contestants ride together in groups and must follow the contestant shuttle for safety no single riders. TE - If a timed event animal escapes or a re-run is given for any other reason, the extra will be used. Only escaped animals go back into the herd. RE-RIDES: After all replacements have been made, any available animals that were notified as turned out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) will be used as re- rides prior to using the designated re- ride(s).
