TRADE DEADLINE - Mon., July 31 at 5 PM. All confirmed trades will be final and will be processed immediately after both involved parties have confirmed through PROCOM. GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hour after entries close. BR - The total amount in the payoff includes the committee purse of $1,500 (for 2023) plus $2,150 carried over from 2022 due to no qualified rides in the Bull Riding event at the 2022 rodeo in Santa Rosa per R5.5.3.1. TD - There will be a disqualification for a jerk down as long as all criteria in compliance with the jerk down policy. QUALIFICATIONS: BB, SB, BR - 15 minimum
conflicts with his position at another association rodeo or event. SW, TDR, TR - Maximum of 75 contestants based on top 100 blended CPRA/PRCA/WPRA standings as of July 13, 2023. Remaining positions if any of the qualification categories are not filled by contestants with dollars won leaving open positions; the remaining openings will be filled by a random draw of card holders, then semi-pro card holders. If there are still open positions, all remaining openings will be filled by a random draw of permit holders. ALTERNATE PROCEDURE: Contestants who have originally entered and were eligible at time of entry but were drawn out will be added to an alternate list. These contestants will be notified of any turn-outs or doctor releases and be given the option of re-entry up to the 24 hours prior to rodeo turn out deadline. If stock has already been drawn in the rough stock they will draw stock from a pool of animals consisting of all turned out stock for that performance and all re-ride stock for that performance. * If a contestant notifies a turn-out, DR or visible release and is replaced by an alternate, the alternate contestant will be responsible for the entry fees. If the contestant that notified the turnout or visible release is not replaced by an alternate, they will be responsible for the entry fee. If a contestant properly doctor releases they will not be responsible for entry fees. If a contestant is a non-notified turn- out they will be responsible to pay entry fees whether they are replaced or not. The alternate contestant will also be responsible to pay entry fees. Also, if a contestant turns-out and is not replaced, he will receive a $250 fine (does not include DR’s and VIR’s). Spares will be used for reruns in all timed events STK. One go-round with a finals (12). QUALIFICATIONS - 20% top circuit, 80% top money (circuit positions will be filled first.) No exemptions. PAY-OFF - 6% of total purse is to be deducted prior to the pay-off and sent in with results. Of the remaining purse 30% of the total purse will be allocated to the long go-round, pays 8 places. 20% of the total purse will be allocated to the final go-round, pays 6 places. 50% of the total purse will be allocated to the average, pays 8 places.
