BB ENTRY FEES: $250 The committee will pay the entry fees for all BB contestants who enter and compete. BB PAY-OFF - One half of total amount in the pay-off, which includes added money and entry fees (minus 6% retained by the PRCA), will be allocated to the total rodeo pay-off which includes all 4 performances (pays 8 places). The other half of the total amount in the pay-off will be allocated to pay day money for each of the four performances. Day money for each performance will pay 4 places. All percentages for placings will be in accordance with the PRCA rule book. TD - The TD herd will be determined after tying the calves each day. Calves may be tagged in either ear. TE - Two contestants may be moved from slack after the performance into the performance per B10.1.19.3 on Wednesday through Friday. This designation must be made by the committee through PROCOM by 5 PM the day after the first go-round trade deadline. QUALIFICATIONS: BB, SB, BR - 56 minimum entries. No compensation. No slack. GROUND RULES: Contestants who choose to enter the Legacy Steer Roping event must be at least 50 years old or a permit holder at the time of entry closing. They must also be entered in the steer roping event at the Keenesburg Rodeo. The contestant must not have been an NFSR qualifier during the past three years. Permit members of all ages will also be eligible to enter. Contestants will pay entry fees of $300. Contestants will not compete on any additional steers. The times that are recorded for the contestants’ competition runs at the Keenesburg Rodeo will be used to determine the pay-off. Pay-off will only include the entry fees for the contestants who entered the Legacy Steer Roping through PROCOM. 6% will be held out of the total amount for the PRCA prior to the pay-off. Only the three go-rounds and the average after three go-rounds will be included in the pay-off for the Legacy Steer Roping. There will be no additional added money and since no additional animals will be run, there will be no additional stock charge or PROCOM charge. Money won in the Legacy Steer Roping will not count towards PRCA World Standings, circuit standings, All Around standings, or for money won qualifications. It will count towards qualifying for the Legacy Steer Roping Finals held in conjunction with the National Finals Steer Roping.
