Rodeo will feature 2 Pools of competition, each including 4 days of consecutive competition with 11 contestants in Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Bull Riding, Tie Down Roping, and Steer Wrestling; 1 Wild Card Round with 8 per event; 1 Semi Finals Round with 10 per event; 1 Showdown Round with 4 Contestants per event. 1.2. CONTESTANT AGREEMENT references the binding legal agreement (Calgary Stampede Rodeo Contestant Agreement) between each contestant and the Calgary Stampede. Each contestant accepts the terms of the Contestant Agreement upon entering the Calgary Stampede and the Contestant Agreement is executed by the Calgary Stampede upon the Calgary Stampede’s acceptance of the contestant’s entry. 1.3 . RODEO RULES refers to the PRCA Rulebook that will be in effect for the bareback riding, bull riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, and tie- down roping events. Unless specifically addressed to the contrary in the document or in the 2021 Calgary Stampede Contestant Agreement, RODEO RULES will prevail during the 2021 Calgary Stampede Rodeo. CONFLICT OF DOCUMENTS AND RULE BOOK: Order of Precedence: In the event of conflict, the 2021 Calgary Stampede Contestant Agreement prevails over the 2021 Calgary Stampede Animal Care Code of Practice and the 2021 Calgary Stampede Ground Rules and the RODEO RULES. The 2021 Calgary Stampede Ground Rules prevails over RODEO RULES. 1.4. Contestants agree to abide by all posted premises rules and regulations of the Calgary Stampede. 1.5. All competitors will ensure their participation and the participation of any and all individuals associated with them are familiar with the 2021 Calgary Stampede Animal Care Code of Practice. 1.6. COVID-19 PROTECTION & HYGIEN PROTOCOLS Contestants agree to the protocols and requirements outlined in the Calgary Stampede Rodeo Competitor Protection & Hygiene document. Each competitor will be required to acknowledge that they have read and agreed to the terms outlined in the document. Competitors who do not follow protocols will be eliminated from competition and could potentially have future Calgary Stampede invitations revoked. 1.7. Stampede Officials shall in their absolute discretion have the right at any time to add a Rule or Rules in order to clarify or address a circumstance or action not previously outlined or contemplated in the existing 2021 Calgary Stampede Rodeo Ground Rules. 2.0 QUALIFICATIONS: 2.1 SB, BB, TD, SW - The Calgary Stampede will invite twenty-two (22) contestants: Six (6) CPRA spots - as per below criteria in order until filled. 1. Canadian Citizen; 2. Top to bottom until filled (top 50 from 2021 PRCA World Standings as of May 25, 2021); 3. Top to bottom until filled (top 50 from 2020 PRCA World Standings); 4. Top to bottom from 2019 CPRA Final Standings. Top eight (8) from the 2020 PRCA Final Standings (drop-down until filled); Top eight (8) rom the PRCA Current Year Standings as of May 25, 2021 (drop-down until filled). BB - The Calgary Stampede will invite twenty-two (22) contestants: Five (5) CPRA Spots - as per below criteria in order until filled. 1. Canadian Citizen. 2. Top to bottom until filled (top 50 from 2021 PRCA World Standings as of May 25, 2021); 3. Top to bottom until filled (top 50 from 2020 PRCA Standings); 4. TEAM ROPING DATE AND LOCATION TO BE DETERMINED. 2.2. 2020 PRCA positions will be filled in order

(top down) from Money Won during the 2020 PRCA season as of December 12th - should any contestant(s) not accept the invitation, the position(s) will be filled in order from the Money Won list through 15th place. Any unfilled PRCA positions will be filled from 2021 PRCA World Standings. 2.3. Should there be a tie for the final qualifying spot(s) in the PRCA, the tie will be broken in favor of those with the highest total money won in the applicable 2021 regular season of the association for the contestants so tied. (i.e. if two contestants were tied for the final PRCA position - Money won in the 2020 PRCA Regular season will break the tie.) After June 18, 2021 all unfilled positions will become Calgary Stampede Qualified Positions. The most recent available standings will be considered current. All will be filled based on 2021 current standings and or Canadians who are available. 2.4. For their entry to be accepted and to be eligible to compete, athletes must secure PRCA membership prior to confirming their entries. All contestants competing at the 2021 Calgary Stampede in Bareback, Saddle Bronc, Bull Riding, Steer Wrestling and Tie Down Roping must be PRCA Members in good standing at the time of entry. Not with standing and in any event of the qualification structure outlined above, the Calgary Stampede reserves the right in its sole and unfettered discretion to not issue or retract an invitation to any Rodeo Contestant. 2.5. REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES: Calgary Stampede management will make best efforts to ensure that all positions within each Pool of rodeo are filled with eleven contestants per event taking 3.1.1.Contestants must confirm entry online through the PROCOM app between 12:00 P.M. (Mountain Time) Thursday, June 3, 2021 to 12:00 P.M. (Mountain Time) Friday, June 4, 2021 and submitting a signed Contestant Agreement. Re- entries for declined invitations will occur between 12 P.M. on Monday, June 7 and 12 P.M. on Tuesday, June 8. 3.1.2. Contestants not confirmed by 5 P.M. June 4, 2021, will have their invitation revoked, and the next qualifying contestant will move into the spot. 3.2. No Entry Fees will be paid by any contestant competing at the 2021 Calgary Stampede. All prize money is added by the Calgary Stampede. 4.TURNOUTS AND DOCTOR RELEASES 4.1. Turn Out and Doctor and Release requests must be relayed to the Calgary Stampede Rodeo Secretary by 12:00 noon MDT July 9 for Pool A and July 13 for Pool B so that we may find a suitable replacement contestant. Contestant substitutions will not be allowed once the first go-round starts for Pool A or Pool B. 4.2. Once confirmation of intent to compete has been submitted, if for any reason a contestant is unable to compete, the contestant must notify the Calgary Stampede Rodeo Secretary so that the Calgary Stampede may arrange for substitution. 4.3. Requests for “approved” release of the Contestant Agreement (to include medical and hardship) will be handled on a case by case basis by the Calgary Stampede and each case will be evaluated on its merit and substantiation. All such decision by the Calgary Stampede are final and binding. 4.4. If a contestant who enters the Calgary Stampede chooses not to compete for a “non- injury/medical” reason, that contestant will be in breach of the Contestant Agreement and will be ineligible to compete in any Calgary Stampede event in 2022 and 2023. 4.5. Contestants must compete in the first go-round of their Pool in order to continue into account current COVID restrictions. 3. ENTRIES 3.1. Confirmation of Entry
