ALL EVENTS - If a contestant who qualifies for the finals notifies a turn-out, doctor’s release, or visible injury release through PROCOM, the contestant with the next highest ranking in the average may be contacted by PROCOM and placed in that available position. Non-notified turn-outs and visible injury releases after the turn- out deadline will not be replaced. If the next highest ranked contestant is not available to accept the position the next highest ranked contestant may be contacted and placed in that position. This procedure will be followed until all positions are filled. The replacement contestant’s competition order will be based on his ranking in the average (not on the ranking of the contestant that he is replacing). In the riding events, if an animals has already been drawn for a contestant who has turned-out, the replacement contestant will draw an animal from a pool consisting of all animals that have been turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) and the first available designated re-ride. ALL CONTESTANTS WITH HORSES - Must provide proof of Health Inspection current within 30 days due to current EVH1 issues as well as brand inspection paperwork on all horses. If a contestant is not able to attend the meeting, he must contact the rodeo secretary of PPOBR. MONEY WON AT THIS EVENT WILL NOT COUNT FOR MOUNTAIN STATES CIRCUIT STANDINGS. The PPOBR champions from 2019 in each event will be accepted as exemptions as long as they enter and are active and eligible PRCA contestant members. No other exemptions accepted. The remaining entries accepted will be based on 2021 PRCA World Standings as of 7 days prior to the entry closing. TR - The PPOBR champion header and champion heeler from 2019 will be accepted as an exemption as long as he enters and is an active and eligible PRCA contestant member. No other exemptions
GROUND RULES: Contestants who choose to enter the Legacy Steer Roping event must be at least 50 years old at the time of entry closing. They must also be entered in the steer roping event at the Sheridan WYO Rodeo. To be eligible, the contestant must be a card member (no permits). Contestants will pay an additional entry fees of $300. Contestants will not compete on any additional steers. The times that are recorded for the contestants’ competition runs at the Sheridan WYO Rodeo will be used to determine the pay- off. Pay-off will only include the entry fees for the contestants who entered the Legacy Steer Roping through PROCOM. 6% will be held out of the total amount for the PRCA prior to the pay-off. Only the first three go-rounds and the average after three go-rounds will be included in the pay-off for the Legacy Steer Roping (the progressive round will not be considered). There will be no additional added money and since no additional animals will be run, there will be no additional stock charge or PROCOM charge. Money won in the Legacy Steer Roping will not count towards PRCA World Standings, circuit standings, All Around standings, or for money won qualifications. It will count towards qualifying for the Legacy Steer Roping Finals held in conjunction with the National Finals Steer Roping. (NFSR qualifiers will not be eligible for the Legacy Steer Roping Finals). STK.
