ALL CONTESTANTS - Re-entries will be accepted for available positions on Mon., June 27 between 9 AM and 11 AM. See Rodeo Entry Information page of the business journal. GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hour after entries close. BB, SB, BR - The “No Conflicts Allowed” policy will not be in effect for contestants entering the Red Lodge X-Bulls and Cody on July 1 for the same performance. COMPETITION FORMAT - 40 minimum entries. (May be two go-rounds, back-to-back, same performance, depending on the number of entries). If two go-rounds, the number of entries accepted during the re-entry period will not exceed one half the original limit. IN ORDER OF SELECTION : 70% top money, 30% top circuit. No exemptions. A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Bulls Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls Event. CHECK-IN: Contestants must check-in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. ALTERNATES: Alternates will be selected based on 2022 money won (as of 7 days prior to the entry closings). Contestants who are placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event that conflicts with the Xtreme Bulls Event will not be eligible to be used as an alternate. Contestants may check-in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant turns-out (notified or non-notified) or VIR’s he will be responsible to pay entry fees whether he is replaced or not. The alternate contestant will also be responsible to pay entry fees. Also, if a contestant turns-out of an X-Bulls event and is not replaced, he will receive a $250 fine (does not include DR’s and VIR’s). If a contestant properly doctor releases he will not be responsible for entry fees nor, will the event be applied to his official rodeo count. RE-RIDES - After all replacements have been made, any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) will be used as re-rides prior to using the designated re ride(s). PAYOFF: 6% of the total purse is to be deducted prior to the payoff and sent in with the results. The payoff will be determined on the highest marked scores. ALL PERCENTAGES WILL BE DIVIDED ACCORDING TO THE RULEBOOK. NOTE: In order for money won in Xtreme Bulls Competition to count for the 2022 National Finals Rodeo or 2022 Rookie of the Year Standings, during the 2022 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos. Money won will count for PRCA World Standings and Xtreme Bulls Standings. It will not count for All Around standings, or circuit standings or towards a circuit rodeo count.
