RIDING EVENT TRADE DEADLINE - Fri., July 8 at 5 PM. All confirmed trades will be final and will be processed immediately after both involved parties have confirmed through PROCOM. TIMED EVENT TRADE DEADLINE - Wed., July 13 at 5 PM. All confirmed trades will be final and will be processed immediately after both involved parties have confirmed through PROCOM. GB - Approved for first slack event in accordance with R4.9.4. TE - If a timed event animal escapes during a performance (or a re-run is given for any other reason), the extra will be used. Only escaped ALL EVENTS - If a contestant who qualifies for the Finals notifies a turn-out, doctors release, or a visible injury release through PROCOM, the constant with the next highest ranking in the average may be placed in that available position. Non-notified turn- outs and visible injury releases after the turn-out deadline will not be replaced. If the next highest ranked contestant is not available to accept the position the next highest ranked contestant may be contacted and placed in that position. This procedure will be followed until all positions are filled. The replacement contestant’s competition order will be based on his ranking in the average (not on the ranking of the contestant that he is replacing). In riding events, if an animal has already been drawn for a contestant who has turned-out, the replacement contestant will draw an animal from a pool consisting of all animals that have been turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) and the first available designated re-ride. QUALIFICATIONS: BB, SB - 60 minimum entries. No compensation. No slack. W/F’s (12) $5,000 held out for finals. BR - 80 minimum entries. No compensation. No slack. W/F’s (12) $5,000 held out for finals. TD, SW, TR - Will be two go-rounds with a finals. STK. CONT.: CERVI CHAMPIONSHIP RODEO animals go back into herd. TR - Only two loops allowed.

ALL CONTESTANTS - Re-entries will be accepted for available positions on Wed., July 13 between 9 AM and 11 AM. See Rodeo Entry Information page of the business journal. GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hour after entries close. COMPETITION FORMAT - 35 minimum entries with a top 10 finals. (May be two go- rounds, back-to back, same performance, depending on the number of entries). If two go-rounds, the number of entries accepted during the re-entry period will not exceed one half the original limit. IN ORDER OF SELECTION : 100% top money. No exemptions. A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Bulls Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls Event. ALL CONTESTANTS - All contestants are required to wear PRCA patch while competing. ALL CONTESTANTS - Secretary’s office will be open from 12 (NOON) to 4 PM on Wed., July 20. ALL CONTESTANTS - Contestant parking will be available starting Monday, July 18 at 8 AM. No early entry. If a contestant’s actions are deemed detrimental to the PRCA, California Rodeo Salinas or the sport of rodeo in general, that contestant will not be eligible to enter or compete at the California Rodeo Salinas in 2023. Any contestant who gives a notification (TO, VIR, DR, DO) without a valid doctor’s release or visible injury release (defined as an injury documented by a certified letter from an MD) will not be eligible to compete at the California Salinas Rodeo in 2023. Event representatives will have opportunity to review the stock lists prior to the stock draw. ALL CONTESTANTS, STOCK CONTRACTORS, AND PERSONNEL - Must sign a release of liability with the secretary before participating. CHECK-IN: Contestants must check-in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. ALTERNATES - Alternates will be selected based on 2022 money won (as of 7 days prior to entry closings). Contestants who are placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event that conflicts with the Extreme Bulls Event will not be eligible to be used as an alternate. Contestants may check-in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant turns-out (notified or non-notified) or VIR’s, he will be responsible to pay entry fees whether he is replaced or not. The alternate contestant will also be responsible to pay entry fees. Also, if a contestant turns-out of an X-Bulls event and is not replaced, he will receive a $250 fine (does not include DR’s and VIR’s). If a contestant properly doctor releases, he will not be responsible for entry fees, nor will the event be applied to his official rodeo count. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn per the rule book. The event will count towards the official rodeo count for any contestant who turns-out after stock callbacks, whether that contestant is replaced or not. HONEST EFFORT - At any Division 1 Event, a contestant must make an honest effort to compete on his drawn stock. If in the opinion of the judge, the contestant has the opportunity to nod and does not, he will be disqualified and suspended for the next two Division 1 Events. The determination of the judges will be final. In addition to disqualification, the fine will progressively double for each reoccurring offense. RE-RIDES - After all replacements have been made,

any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) will be used as re-rides prior to using the designated re ride(s). PAYOFF: 6% of the total purse is to be deducted prior to the payoff and sent in with the results. The payoff will be determined on the highest marked scores - ALL PERCENTAGES WILL BE DIVIDED ACCORDING TO THE RULEBOOK. NOTE: In order for money won in Xtreme Bulls Competition to count for the 2022 National Finals Rodeo or 2022 Rookie of the Year Standings, during the 2022 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos. Money won will count for PRCA World Standings and Xtreme Bulls Standings. It will not count for All Around standings, circuit standings or towards a circuit rodeo count.
