GROUND RULES: Contestants who choose to enter the Legacy Steer Roping event must be at least 50 years old at the time of entry closing or a permit member. They must also be entered in the steer roping event at the Yuma Stand Alone Steer Roping Event. To be eligible, the contestant must not have been an NFSR qualifier during the past 5 years. Permit members of all ages are eligible to enter. Contestants will pay entry fees of $300. Contestants will not compete on any additional steers. The times that are recorded for the contestants’ competition runs at the Yuma Stand Alone Steer Roping Event will be used to determine the payoff. Payoff will only include the entry fees for the contestants who entered the Legacy Steer Roping through PROCOM. 6% will be held out of the total amount for the PRCA prior to the payoff. The check-in deadline for alternates to be considered as “walk-up replacements” at Xtreme Broncs Events is 1 hour prior to start of the event. GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hour after entries close. COMPETITION FORMAT: 24 minimum entries. No compensation. No slack. One go-round with a Top 8 finals. If ties result in more than 8, a random draw by the judges will determine who advances (will not exceed 8). QUALIFICATIONS: 20% top circuit, 80% top money. Circuit positions will be filled first. No exemptions. ALL CONTESTANTS - A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Broncs Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event with a “same performance” conflict as the X-broncs event. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn per the rulebook. The event will count towards the official rodeo count for any contestant that turns-out after stock callbacks, whether that contestant is replaced or not. Contestants who qualify for the finals may be requested by the committee to draw their own animal from a hat containing poker chips inscribed with animals’ number in the arena or other designated area prior to the finals. This determination may be based on production factors. PAY-OFF: 6% of total purse is to be deducted prior to the pay-off and sent in with results. Of the remaining purse 60% of the total purse will be allocated to the long go-round, pays 8 places, 40% of the total purse will be allocated to the final
