One go-round with a Top 6 finals. If ties result in more than 6, a random draw by the judges will determine who advances (will not exceed 6). QUALIFICATIONS: 80% top money, 20% top circuit. No exemptions. ALL CONTESTANTS - A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at this event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event with a “same performance” conflict as this event. CHECK-IN: The check-in deadline for alternates to be considered as “walk-up replacements” at this event is 1 hour prior to start of the event. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn per the rulebook. The event will count towards the official rodeo count for any contestant that turns-out after stock callbacks, whether that contestant is replaced or not. PAY-OFF: 6% of total purse is to be deducted prior to the pay-off and sent in with results. Of the remaining purse 60% of the total purse will be allocated to the long go-round, pays 8 places, 40% of the total purse will be allocated to the final go-rounds, pays 4 places. There will be no average pay-off. ALL PERCENTAGES WILL BE DIVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH RULEBOOK. NOTE: Money won at this event will count towards qualification for the 2022 National Finals Rodeo and the 2022 Rookie of the Year Standings, as long as the contestant has entered and competed in a minimum of 40 PRCA rodeos during the 2022 rodeo year. ALL EVENTS - If a contestant who qualifies for the finals notifies a turn-out, doctor’s release, or visible injury release through PROCOM, the contestant with the next highest ranking in the average may be placed in that available position. Non-notified turn-outs and visible injury releases after the turn-out deadline will not be replaced. If the next highest ranked contestant is not available to accept the position the next highest ranked contestant may be contacted and placed in that position. This procedure will be followed until all positions are filled. The replacement contestant’s competition order will be based on his ranking in the average (not on the ranking of the contestant that he is replacing). In the riding events, if an animal has already been drawn for a contestant who has turned-out, the replacement contestant will draw an animal from a pool consisting of all animals that have been turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) and the first available designated re-ride. All replacements will be contacted by PROCOM. TR - Only two loops allowed. TE - There will be two section of timed event slack. Aug. 16 at 8 AM will be the 1st go-round. Slack order to be TD, SW, TR. The second go-round will begin on Aug. 16 at 5 PM. Slack order will be BA, TR, SW, TD. TE - Will be two go-rounds W/F’s (12). TE - If a timed event animal escapes during a performance (or a re-run is given for any other reason), the extra will be used. Only escaped animals go back into herd. QUALIFICATIONS: BB, SB - 60 minimum entries. W/F’s (12). $5000 held for finals. BR - 75 minimum entries. No compensation. No slack. No finals in BR.
