ALL EVENTS - If a contestant who qualifies for the finals notifies a turn-out, doctor’s release, or visible injury release through PROCOM, the contestant with the next highest ranking in the average may be placed in that available position. Non-notified turn- outs and visible injury releases after the turn-out deadline will not be replaced. If the next highest ranked contestant is not available to accept the position the next highest ranked contestant may be contacted and placed in that position. This procedure will be followed until all positions are filled. The replacement contestant’s competition order will be based on his ranking in the average (not on the ranking of the contestant that he is replacing). In the riding events, if an animal has already been drawn for a contestant who has turned-out, the replacement contestant will draw an animal from a pool consisting of all animals that have been turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) and the first available designated re-ride. TR - Only two loops allowed. TE - There will be two section of timed event slack. Aug. 16 at 8 AM will be the 1st go-round. Slack order to be TD, SW, TR. The second go-round will begin on Aug. 16 at 5 PM. Slack order will be BA, TR, SW, TD. TE - Will be two go-rounds W/F’s (12). TE - If a timed event animal escapes during a performance (or a re-run is given for any other reason), the extra will be used. Only escaped animals go back into herd. GROUND RULES: Contestants who choose to enter the Legacy Steer Roping event must be at least 50 years old at the time of entry closing. They must also be entered in the steer roping event at the Wyoming State Fair & Rodeo. To be eligible, the contestant must be a card member (no permits). Contestants will pay an additional entry fees of $200. Contestants will not compete on any additional steers. The times that are recorded for the contestants’ competition runs at the Wyoming State Fair & Rodeo will be used to determine the pay-off. Pay-off will only include the entry fees for the contestants who entered the Legacy Steer Roping through PROCOM. 6% will be held out of the total amount for the PRCA prior to the pay-off. Only the first three go-rounds and the average after three go-rounds will be included in the pay-off for the Legacy Steer Roping (the progressive round will not be considered). There will be no additional added money and since no additional animals will be run, there will be no additional stock charge or PROCOM charge. Money won in the Legacy Steer Roping will not count towards PRCA World Standings, circuit standings, All Around standings, or for money won qualifications. It will count towards qualifying for the Legacy Steer Roping Finals held in conjunction with the National Finals Steer Roping. (NFSR qualifiers will not be eligible for the Legacy Steer Roping Finals). STK.
