QUALIFICATIONS: BB, SB, BR - 80 minimum entries. No compensation. No slack. TD - 75 minimum entries. SW, TR - 80 minimum entries (or teams). TE - Two go-rounds. Back-to-back. On June 30 and July 1, approximately 23 contestants (or teams), each morning will run their first go-round during the 9 AM slack. The second go-round for these contestants will begin immediately following the completion of the first go-round and will conclude during that night’s performance with the last 10 contestants of the second go-round for that back to-back group. On July 2 and 3, 10 contestants (or teams) in each event will be run during slack at 3 PM for their first go-round. Their second go-round will be run during the performance that night. On July 4, 10 contestants (or teams) will be run during the 1:30 PM performance. Their second go-round will be the 7:30 PM performance that same day (the number of contestants in each “back-to-back” group may vary slightly depending on contestant preferences). STK. They must also be entered in the steer roping event at the Black Hills Roundup. Contestants will pay entry fees of $300. Contestants will not compete on any additional steers. The times that are recorded for the contestants’ competition runs at the Black Hills Roundup will be used to determine the pay off. Pay-off will only include the entry fees for the contestants who entered the Legacy Steer Roping through PROCOM. 6% will be held out of the total amount for the PRCA prior to the pay- off. Only the three go-rounds and the average after three go-rounds will be included in the pay-off for the Legacy Steer Roping. There will be no additional added money and since no additional animals will be run, there will be no additional stock charge or PROCOM charge. Money won in the Legacy Steer Roping will not count towards PRCA World Standings, circuit standings, All Around standings, or for money won qualifications. It will count towards qualifying for the Legacy Steer Roping Finals held in conjunction with the National Finals Steer Roping. (NFSR qualifiers will not be eligible for the Legacy Steer Roping Finals). STK.
