See Rodeo Entry Information page of the business journal. TRADE DEADLINE - Thurs., April 21 at 5 PM. All confirmed trades will be final and will be processed immediately after both involved parties confirm through PROCOM. GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hour after entries close. If a contestant is a non-notified turn out at this event in 2022, he will not be accepted as an entry at the 2023 event. COMPETITION FORMAT - 80 minimum entries. One go-round with finals (top 10 each performance). Approximately 40 contestants will compete during each performance with the top 10 (will not exceed 10) advancing to a finals during each performance. (The payoff for the long go-round, the finals and the average will be determined by the highest scores from both combined performances). If there are not 10 qualified rides during a performance, all remaining positions will be filled by random draw. If the 10th contestant is tied going into the final round, the tie will be broken by the back judge. If he cannot break the tie, all tied contestants will draw chips to see who advances to the finals. IN ORDER OF SELECTION : 90% top money, 10% random draw of exemptions. NOTIFY PROCOM - Notification must be made at the time of entry if claiming an exemption from qualification. Anyone claiming an exemption must have entered and paid fees at a minimum of twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2021 rodeo year, unless the contestant qualifies for a medical exemption. Contestants claiming medical exemptions must have been injured at least six (6) months during the 2021 rodeo year. Contestant must not have entered and paid fees at more than twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos or events held during the 2021 rodeo year. A letter from a licensed physician on doctor’s letterhead bearing the doctor’s name, address and phone number, must be received by the PRCA National Office prior to entry opening. If contestant with a medical exemption is drawn (during the random draw of exemptions) his “money won” from the year previous to the qualification category being considered will be used to determine whether or not he will be accepted (if he was injured for 6 months during the 2021 rodeo year, his “money won” from the 2020 rodeo year will be used in comparison to the “money won” from the 2021 rodeo year for the other contestants entered). A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Bulls Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls Event. CHECK-IN: Contestants must check-in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. ALTERNATES: PROCOM will establish an alternate list, based on 2021 money won. Contestants who are placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event that conflicts with the X-Bulls event will not be used as an alternate. Contestants may check- in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant turns-out (notified or non- notified) or VIR’s he will be responsible to pay entry fees whether he is replaced or not. The alternate contestant will also be responsible to pay entry fees. Also, if a contestant turns-out of an X-Bulls event and is not replaced, he will receive

ride(s). PAYOFF: 6% of the total purse is to be deducted prior to the payoff and sent in with the results. Payoff will be determined on highest marked scores. NOTE: In order for money won in Xtreme Bulls competition to count for the 2022 National Finals Rodeo or the 2022 Rookie of the Year Standings, during the 2022 season a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos.
