COMPETITION FORMAT - 40 minimum entries. Two go-rounds back-to-back, same performance if less than 25 entries. If two go-rounds, the number of contestants accepted during the re-entry period will not exceed one half the original limit. QUALIFICATIONS: - 70% top money - 30% top circuit. NOTIFY PROCOM : Notification must be made at the time of entry if claiming an exemption from qualification. Anyone claiming an exemption must have entered and paid fees at a minimum of twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2021 rodeo year, unless the contestant qualifies for a medical exemption. Contestants claiming medical exemptions must have been injured at least six (6) months during the 2021 rodeo year. Contestant must not have entered and paid fees at more than twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2021 rodeo year. A letter from a licensed physician on doctor’s letterhead bearing the doctor’s name, address and phone number must be received by the PRCA National Office prior to entry opening. A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Bulls Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls event. ALTERNATES: Alternates will be selected from a list established by PROCOM based on 2022 money won. A contestant who is placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the Xtreme Bulls Event will not be eligible to be used as an alternate. Contestants may check in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant turns-out (notified or non-notified) or VIR’s he will be responsible to pay entry fees whether he is replaced or not. The alternate contestant will also be responsible to pay entry fees. Also, if a contestant turns-out of an X-Bulls event and is not replaced, he will receive a $250 fine (does not include DR’s and VIR’s). If a contestant properly doctor releases he will not be responsible for entry fees nor will the event be applied to his official rodeo count. CHECK-IN: Contestants must check in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. RE-RIDES - After all replacements have been made, any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out (includes DR’s & VIR’s) will be used as re-rides prior to using the designated re-ride(s). PAYOFF: 6% of the total purse is to be deducted prior to the payoff and sent in with the results. The payoff will be determined on the highest marked scores. NOTE: In order for money won in Xtreme Bulls Competition to count for the 2022 National Finals Rodeo or the 2022 Rookie of the Year Standings, during the 2022 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos during the 2022 rodeo year. Money won will count for PRCA World Standings and Xtreme Bulls Standings. It will not count for All Around, circuit standings or towards a circuit rodeo count. The check in deadline for alternates to be considered as walk-up replacements for this event will be one hour prior to the performance. ALL CONTESTANTS - Re-entries will be accepted for available positions on Thur., May 26 between 9 AM and 11 AM. See Rodeo Entry Information page of the business journal. TRADE DEADLINE - Wed., May 25 at 5 PM. All confirmed trades will be final and will be processed immediately after both involved parties have confirmed through PROCOM. GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hour after entries close. QUALIFICATIONS: BB, SB - 20% top circuit, 80% top money. (Circuit positions will be filled first). The SB event will occur in its entirety on Sun., May 29 at 2 PM. The BB event will occur in its entirety on Mon., May 30 at 2 PM. BB, SB - 24 minimum entries in each event. No compensation. No slack. SW - No limit. One complete go-round will be run at 8 AM on Mon., May 30. The top 12 based on fastest times in the long go-round will advance to the finals in the performance at 2 PM. ALL CONTESTANTS - A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at this event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event during the same performance as the event. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn per the rulebook. The event will count towards the official rodeo count for any contestant that turns-out after stock callbacks, whether that contestant is replaced or not. PAYOFF: 6% of total purse is to be deducted prior to the payoff and sent in with results. ALL PERCENTAGES WILL BE DIVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH RULEBOOK. NOTE: Money won at this event in SB will count towards 2022 X-Broncs standings. Money won at this event will count towards qualifications for the 2022 National Finals Rodeo and the 2022 Rookie of the Year Standings, as long as the contestant has entered and competed in a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos during the 2022 rodeo year. Money won will not count for circuit standings or All- Around standings. This event will not be applied to the contestants required circuit participation count. STK.
