SR - 4 go-rounds plus a top 18 progressive round. The first three go- rounds will be run on May 13. The fourth go-round and the progressive will be run on May 14. Contestants who qualify for the progressive go-round will be charged an additional $45 stock charge. Extras will be used to replace sick or injured animals. The misdraw procedure will not be used. ALL CONTESTANTS - Only the first 3 animals in each go-round will be required to run in drawn order. Electric eye barrier may be used. Contestants may start from either box. Contestants are required to go to a minimum of 15 PRCA rodeos for the money won at this even to count towards 2023 World standings or the 2023 Rookie of the Year standings. Money will count towards circuit standings and this event will be applied towards a circuit count. Money won at this event will not count toward All Around standings. STK. LEGACY STEER ROPING LIBERTY HILL TX NPP MAY 13-14 LIBERTY HILL LEGACY STEER ROPING ARENA: Harvest Arena ADDRESS: 8355 Rr 1869 PERFS: 2 Perfs: May 13-10:00 AM; May 14- 1:00 PM EVENTS: SR PERMITS: SR GROUND RULES: Contestants who choose to enter the Legacy Steer Roping event must be at least 50 years old at the time of entry closing or a permit member. They must also be entered in the steer roping event at the Liberty Hill Fair and Rodeo. To be eligible, the contestant must not have been an NFSR qualifier during the past five years. Permit members of all ages will also be eligible to enter. Contestants will pay additional entry fees of $400. Contestants will not compete on any additional steers. The times that are recorded for the contestant’s competition runs at the Liberty Hill Fair and Rodeo will be used to determine the pay-off. Pay-off will only include the entry fees for the contestants who entered the Legacy Steer Roping through PROCOM. 6% will be held out of the total amount for the PRCA prior to the pay-off. Only the four go-rounds and the average after four go-rounds will be included in the pay-off for the Legacy Steer Roping. There will be no additional added money and since no additional animals will be run, there will be no additional stock charge of PROCOM charge. Money won in the Legacy Steer Roping will not count towards PRCA World Standings, circuit standings, All Around standings, or for money won qualifications. It will count only towards qualifying for the Legacy Steer Roping Finals held in conjunction with the National Finals Steer Roping.
