Total money above includes an estimated minimum of $12,000 committee purse and an estimated amount of $37,389 PRCA additional funds (which includes $500 entry fees per contestant). Stock charge $349 per man. FORMAT - 35 contestants. 6 go-rounds, plus a semi-finals (8) and a finals (4). Sunset Lane PERFS: 2 Perfs: May 1-12:00 PM; May 2-9:00 AM EVENTS: SR SPECIAL ENTRY FEES: SR-$400 PERMITS: SR GROUND RULES: Contestants who choose to enter the Legacy Steer Roping event must be at least 50 years old or a permit holder at the time of entry closing. They must also be entered in the steer roping event at the Guymon Pioneer Days Rodeo. To be eligible, the contestant must not have been an NFSR qualifier during the past 3 years. Permit members of all ages will also be eligible to enter. Contestants will pay entry fees of $400. Contestants will not compete on any additional steers. The times that are recorded for the contestants’ competition runs at the Guymon Pioneer Days Rodeo will be used to determine the pay-off. Pay-off will only include the entry fees for the contestants who entered the Legacy Steer Roping through PROCOM. 6% will be held out of the total amount for the PRCA prior to the pay- off. Only the four go-rounds and the average after four go-rounds will be included in the pay-off for the Legacy Steer Roping. There will be no additional added money and since no additional animals will be run, there will be no additional stock charge or PROCOM charge. Money won in the Legacy Steer Roping will not count towards PRCA World Standings, circuit standings, All Around standings, or for money won qualifications. It will count towards qualifying for the Legacy Steer Roping Finals held in conjunction with the National Finals Steer Roping.
