PRCA ELECTION STATEMENTS Bareback Riding Event Representative Nominees CALEB BENNETT Hey guys, I have been the Bareback Riding Rep for the past four years and it has been a learning experience that I am grate- ful for. Anyone who knows me, knows that my passion lies in rodeo and bucking horses. I do my best to represent every one of you while also recognizing this job is more than just representing the bareback riders and its more than just picking great horses-it’s about helping rodeo as a whole. I firmly believe that in order for bareback riding to be its best, the sport also has to evolve to be its best; and that’s what I strive to help do. Communicating with all of you, as well as with committees, other contestants, stock contractors, and officials is a necessity and I’ve made myself very approachable to anyone and will continue to do so. I aim to resolve your issues immediately, whether I personally know you or not. When making important decisions, I discuss with guys from different circuits to get honest opinions and ideas. I’m here to help you and grow our sport and I’d love to continue being the Bareback Riding Event Rep. I would appreciate your vote.

ANTHONY THOMAS To my fellow PRCA members,

Thank you for the bareback riding director nomination. I’m passionate about making our sport the best it can be for its competitors, I’m an enthusiast of the animal athletes in our sport, and I’d be honored to be a part of positive change in our event. We all know there is room for improvement and that our event needs an advocate.

Some of the things I’d like to amplify if elected will be: • To be available via call or text when help is needed • To be a representative for ALL PRCA bareback riders • More stand-alone bareback riding events

• To help bridge the gap between contestants, contractors and judges • Ways to fix the problem and reasons associated with turnouts • Submissions for accountability for unfair calls/errors from judges. Every card-holding bareback rider deserves to have their say, and by voting this March you are taking the first step to being heard. I appreciate your vote! Bull Riding Representative TREVOR REISTE – No statement provided CODY ROSTOCKYJ It’s been a fun two years! I feel like we have gotten some great things accomplished and have our goals going the right direction. If you feel I’m still the man for the job I’d be honored to represent you. I will continue to have an open mind and line of communication for everyone. Thank you for your confidence and I look forward to serving you for a second term. Cody Rostockyj Tie Down Roping Representative SHANE HANCHEY – No statement provided JEROME SCHNEEBERGER For the past 4 years, I have represented the tie down ropers as event director with the PRCA. As your representative, I stay in contact with contestants, stock contractors and the rodeo committees. This last year our sport has faced many challenges; I will continue to do my best to support ropers as a whole - from the smallest rodeos to the biggest - to ensure every cowboy is well represented.
