Team Roping Representative MANNY EGUSQUIZA – No statement provided MATT SHERWOOD

Thank you for your support as team roping director. We are working together to help make team roping better for everyone. We continue to get more rodeos to come on board with equal money. Last year was extremely challenging. Hopefully this year committees will be allowed to get back to putting on rodeos. I’d love to continue to work with them and all of you as your team roping director. Thank you for voting. Timer/Secretary Representative SUNNI DEB BACKSTROM I am pretty plain spoken and with that said I can’t and won’t make promises I can’t keep but I will promise to do my best to represent the secretaries and timers. What I can bring to the table is experience and knowledge from being in the rodeo business my entire life and I hope enough respect from the other representatives to have our voices heard. Obviously representing secretaries and timers is my first obligation but I would be remiss if I didn’t work towards making our business better for the entire membership. I would like to choose a handful of assistant directors to troubleshoot ideas with an in that capacity provide more availability to our group to have more than one person to call with problems, questions and new ideas. I would like to thank Eva Chadwick for her years of service in representing us. I thank you in advance for your consideration. MIKEY JO DUGGAN After a year of what seemed like a bad dream, getting this nomination is an exciting honor. I love being a rodeo secretary/timer and the adventures it has brought while traveling the country. I work for multiple stock contractors in multiple states. Each with their own way of doing things. In between rodeos I work as a substitute teacher. This is a great way to practice patience and how to adjust to new situations on the fly since every day you walk into a new classroom and are expected to be the leader in someone else’s environment. My leadership roles include 9 years on the Executive Board of the Texas High School Rodeo Association, and I am currently starting my 6 th year as manager of the Texas Pro Rodeo Circuit. Both of these roles have provided me opportunities to learn how to work with board members to accomplish the goals of the membership. I believe communication is key to preventing problems and resolving issues that arise. Eva has been a great communicator and has championed us for many years. We have all benefitted from her leadership. Continuing and expanding on her work will be my focus if I am selected to be your representative and advocate on the Contract Personnel Committee. Mikey Jo Duggan ALLISON FRANCE What an incredible ten years that Eva has given us! I am sure all of you will join with me in sending her our warmest thank you! It is my hope that I can continue to offer the level of attention that she has provided and be a champion for our sport. I will be proactive, supportive, educational, and always available. This has been exhibited by my development and support of a training program for our up-and-coming timers. I will be open to new ideas, but also respectful of our long-standing traditions, and how we can use both to provide the best experience and most accurate results for the PRCA, stock contractors, contract personnel, committees and contestants. I am an accountant by day and intimately familiar with how we can use technology to make our jobs and communication more efficient. I have timed circuit finals in both the Columbia River and Wilderness Circuits, secretary for the Columbia River Circuit Finals, and was chosen to time the Ram National Circuit Finals. Our jobs are about developing our business relationships, so it is my hope that I have earned your support as the Executive Council Representative for Secretaries and Timers. Thank you. Contract Personnel At- Large Representative STACEY DOWTON Rodeo has been a part of my world since childhood. I competed in high school and college as a breakaway roper & team roper then on the amateur level. I became a member of the Moses Lake Roundup Committee to continue with supporting a sport that I wanted to see grow into the future. I’ve worked as a Timer and Music Director on the amateur level many years. I have been a member of the PRCA as a Timer & Music Director since 2001. I was a member of the Columbia River Circuit board as a Com- mittee Representative for over 18 years and The Contract Personnel Director for a year. I’m passionate about rodeo as a life- style, its heritage, the friendships and life’s lessons I have acquired in and out of the arena. · • Rodeo Timer, Music Director, Competitor, and Committee member/officer
